| Originally posted by Theresa I had bought a bike this past March 31st. By the beginning of May, it had been stolen. I spent almost $700 on that blasted thing, and some fuckwad stole it. It was the first thing I had really ever bought for myself that was worth a bit of money, and I was so excited about getting it, I had signed up for a womens biking team and everything. When I found out it was stolen, I was so upset and angry I think if I had seen the thief, I would have beaten him with the broken lock he cut in half. |
I had a girl friend stolen from me.
She was expensive and important since we had been dating almost 2 years.... but later I learned she was sleeping with someone else and she became worth a lot less to me.
ps: for those of you with expensive bikes, get a kyrptonite new york fuggabudit chain lock. they cost a bit over $100 but they have a $7,000 anti theft policy. I've upgraded absolutely every component on my bike over years of racing cross country and it's now worth a few grand.... this is the only lock on the market I trust, I can leave my bike anywhere now and feel safe.
i had a swatch stolen from me that my aunt got me when i was 12...just about a month after getting back from croatia.
and not too long ago a brand new $400 dollar LG cell. scumbag took it right outta my pocket. ps what goes around comes around ******...so i hope it was worth it
my heart.... (but some how i think i found it again.... in someone very special)
CHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEESEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

i used to get jumped alot where i lived when i was a kid. thats what u get for living by a project. so i had quite a few things stolen. but its cool it really teaches u how to stick up for urself and how to deal with that shit. i dont like gettin into confrontations, i think the majority of ppl are the same, Ive learned to walk away from drama, but when put in a situation where i have to go pound for pound i thank those days when i got beat up and got my shoes hat and watch stolen when i was 13- 16 in willowridge.
last time someone tried to jump me for something i was 18, at nightschool at martingrove collegiate institute. guy claimed he had a gun and told me to run my pockets. me being alil older, bigger and alot wiser i told the guy i want to see the gun first and if he has one everything i got on me is his. i ended up butting out my ciggarette and going back to class.
also i dont want to come off as ghetto but thats how toronto suburbs is, u have anice area and across the street u have government housing. its like that all over.
I remember when I was living in London, a DJ there had his entire house raided, all of his records, decks, mixer, stereo, production equipment and computer stolen. I want to say it was Matt Coleridge but I may have my names mixed up. in any event, I can't imagine losing every last music-related thing in my apartment...it was a huge huge loss, lots of stuff that was irreplaceable.
