i like doing that with sushi, not rolls. rolls have their own individual flavors that i want to taste.

I think we must work across the street from each other.

Bikkuri (formerly Kabukki) is good. They are quick, the prices are reasonable, presentation is nice.

Others in our area are SushiMan (Victoria & Richmond), Ichibahn (Wellington & Church) and then the one on Adelaide just West of Yonge (the name escapes me).

I forget the name of the establishment but there is a sushi place on Church Street where the sushi chef is a bit of a rock-star... Totally awesome experience.

He cuts fish and prepares freestyle sushi ("chef's selection") and he just passes it over the glass sushi counter as people crowd around it like a velvet rope in front of a club.

The chef continues this just handing it out, making little sushi plates each with their own uniqueness.

I highly recommend this place. I'll post the name when I remember.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Sushi....my two fave places for it are Blowfish @ Bathurst and King and this more authentic place @ Winston Churchill and Dundas. My fave is the spicy salmon rolls. Blowfish is a sushi place but more fusion-y I'd say...they have these handrolls which are to die for (no it's not fugu!)

We need a TOTA sushi outing!

i jus came back from an amazing sushi lunch at a very good all u can eat on hwy 7 and warden, yong sushi... probably the best all u can eat i had.

But usually i would say that all u can eat is no good. If u want the best u have to go for a la carte, and my favorite place is Momo Yama at young and steeles

Not sure if it's the same place - but Hiro Sushi (King and Jarvis) has the same concept and Hiro is probably the most famous sushi chef in the city. It's called eating "Omakaze" style (chef's choice) and it's amazing.

From my experience the best place to have the FRESHEST and highest quality fish is at the Prince Hotel. Its a bar inside the Prince Hotel called Katsura. Keep in mind you will go broke in a very short timespand depending on how big your apetite is... but every penny is worth it.

SUSHI = MY Favourite Food

A new sushi resturant on yonge (not like we need any more!!) but it just opened at yonge/charles st and it has a roating sushi boat thing that the sushi comes around on! Looks nice and they have a lot of good deals until the end of September, it's right next door to Korean Grill House....

A long time ago, I used to cringe at the thought of eating sushi. Now I am in love with it. I used to sneak out of school just so I could eat it! This summer I am living and working with a girl from Japan, and she makes the most AMAZING sushi!!!! She makes the "homestyle" kind, and it's soooooo good!

Ugh, I want some now!

On King, two door down from The Still, same side of the street. Cant miss it, all you can eat sushi signs on the front in the windows and such.

Excellent food. Im pretty picky about my sushi, and I was sceptical the first time, but Lopi made me try it, and its for sure quality food.

Where the heck is The Still?
