Just a bit curios, what do the other boys cost per event?

best regards, SIPOwitz

dunno if you're joking or not, but tiesto doesn't do private parties. he feeds on the energy of the crowd.

oakey is like $30,000/event

Yes, we are pretty spoiled over here (in holland) .

About interview:
Great one! was getting pretty worried that the southern sun rmx was not even going to be put on promo.
And even some really fun to read questions!

Great interview. This is just Tiesto. He ios always the same person. I read so much interviews and he says almost all the time the same things, but it is cool to read some nice questions

Posted by Crazy Serb on Mar-13-2002 17:42:

Well he says all the same things because people keep asking him the same questions...

anyway - a great interview... and I really liked that one with "boring cliche uplifting trance"... there's a lot of shit that falls into that category and so many people around here get excited about it. I couldn't agree more that we need some more ORIGINAL Uplifting Progressive trance... original being the keyword.

I love Gielen, he's one of my favourite.. if he showed up here it would be packed, I can bet on it.

Babes, he did come down sometime in late 2001. But it was the same deal, only like 50 people were there... but the set was awesome! Just needed more publicity, and needed to be on the weekend...

Oh yeah btw, great interview! Tiesto is the shit... I just hope his 'experimenting' is for the best..

no kidding. 80% of the stuff on here. but anyways, its good to hear tiesto say that.. ferry plays a lot of it at times, i see tiesto moving away from... getting harder and stuff..

well i don't know how big the trance scene is in you country but here its quite big.. so there are always parties etc.. and some don't advertice so there won't be a lot of people there, because they allready bought a ticket to an other party or something..
if the trance scene isn't too big it would be logical that club owners will advertize a lot because they have the excluse dj gielen (for example) ..
hope to be clear.. my english isn't too good..

I understand you perfectly, english is not my first language either. Yeah, I would say trance is pretty... small in Canada comparing to Holland - the true Trance Nation! But, it's ok.. at least it's not non-existent.
I am just so shocked about ^^ again: how did I miss him!??!

Yeah, I looked through my old flyers and found it. He came down Thursday September 27th 2001. It was a thursday so not that many people went. I was there though, I wouldn't 've missed it for the world... I guess if you were a tranceaddict sooner you woulda known

didn't like the interview, don't like Tiesto.

"boring cliche uplifting trance" -- well, that just happens to be the kind of Trance I enjoy. Fast, energy-packed, melodic, and danceable.

I bet, for example, he would classify something like DJ Centaury & Wavetraxx - Dark Angel as "boring cliche uplifting trance," and yet this happens to be one of the most emotional anthems I've ever heard.

For me Tiesto's choice of music is boring and -- yes -- clich.

I was sooo broke anyways - for that reason too I missed Corsten.. but sure not Tiesto and PVD! (Didn't eat for a week and pushed an empty envelope into ATM and withdrew $$, which resulted in my account being blocked for 6 months, but hey - couldn't miss these two )

but stiiiiiiiiiil I'm so and

LOL ARE YOU SERIOUS??????? YOU CAN DO THAT??
not with most banks i presume. usually you can only withdraw what you already have in there... geez.....lol

Posted by Boy trance on Mar-14-2002 16:00:

No, I can do that with my bank also, you have to have cash back though in order for that to work...

Brunette I can't believe you actually did that though! Mind you I prolly woulda done the same, but still, I woulda paid for you!

yeah.. you can do that
I can't anymore though
I was even on schedule to work 11pm-6am the night of PVD but I told them I had a class at 8am (which I did, but I wasn't that concerned with it) and couldn't stay because of that, so they let me go at 2:30am. And I went to Guv

Boy trance, when you're so anxious, you take desperate measures. I wasn't even thinking of consequences. It was worth it
