Mauro RARELY comes to LA, but JOOF has been here already. Mauro deserves to close. You can't have a techno DJ come all the way here and have him be the opener. That's ridiculous.

don't sweat it, wait until you hear real set times. it's still 3 weeks away and anything can happen.

I think it would only be more logical to have Mauro open because Joof's style is at a higher BPM. Either way, I'll be satisfied, regardless. Two great DJs in one night.

No offense to all you JOOF fans (sorry sarah & raul) but i think JOOF should just play on a completely seperate night. I'm so disappointed right now, it's not even funny.

I'm really happy because both of them are two of my favoite DJs. It would be nice to see more of Mauro, but that's something the "powers at be" would need to decide. We'll have to wait for the final timeslots. Whatever happens, you won't see me disappointed, because it'll be the best of both worlds.

Ya, maybe YOU won't be dissapointed, BUT i will be if he doesn't close. I've seen Mauro in Toronto & NY, where he plays hardddddd, HARDER than Speedy J last night. If he opens on the 7th, he'll be playing slower stuff.

Either way, I'm atleast happy to see Mauro back here.

well, i see each of your points but maybe one will not hold out for the other kinda like jon obir and rank 1, jon didn't seem to hold out and things worked out just fine and we had 5 hours of hard core banging music and the electricity was crazy.

im way fucking thrilled for this night no matter what happens with the set times. I have a middle slot in the backroom so I am bound to miss some of the shinanagans in the main room.

sucks that picotto might not be the closer, and only play a 2 hour set.

DJ's shouldn't hold back, they should throw down regardless of what time they're playing at.

I'll be able to announce the set times soon....just get ready for a looooong night
