I do believe the "wormwood" Absinth is legal in the UK and Czech Republic as well. You can have it shipped to USA, but you can't have it sold in USA (so it's legal for personal consumption, but illegal to resale). It's illegal in Canada, so all the stuff you see in LCBO is not the real stuff - it's just another liquor here.

I tried a while ago to have it shipped to Canada, and no such luck.
