Well done, i'll let you trip all over your own version of the English language.

Well sorry to burst your bubble princess, but not everyone is forced to see anything in one particular way, our minds arent built that way.

I am not intersted in what makes you laugh, I am more interested in what makes you think. And what motivates you to respond against people who dont agree with you. You dont know me and you dont know that all I do is joke...know that. If I think that the topic of environmentalism is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT and that americans are retarded when it comes to the topic, and that carlin and the likes insist on making excuses for a problem that requires action then so be it.

Fuck dude I laughed while watching the entire thing. IT WAS FUNNY. but when you stop laughing and realise that this is all that americans know about a problem that they are making so much worse, then the joke eventually stops...for you madame it clearly does not.

Miller and Carlin are similar commics, one is just alot better at being funny. And in times like these where polictical polarization is at it highest point all over the US, powerful speakers with a following must be mindful of their voice.

Carlin is political, carlin is obessesed with popular culture of which politics is a part of.

Miller is political, Miller is obessesed with popular culture of which politics is a part of.

Maher on the other hand, that is a good man.

Yes, but if you take a stand up comedy of Carlin's as literal translation of his knowledge and information on said subjects, then you are really much more idiotic than you know yourself to be. Its like taking a Shakespearing tragedy and taking it as literal history. Comedy used as a means of acquiring information should always be loosely adhered to and never taken as a fact (much like the Daily Show, or the Colbert Report) but yet it still loosely bases itself on the truth so that its not all make belief and somewhat interesting way to percieve a situation or topic.

Carlin in this routine is merely making fun of the idea of enviromentalism. He finds something that people always hold sacred and twist it around to make fun of the laughable parts of any idea or topic he decides to make his routine. Much like his idol Lenny Bruce, George Carlin challanged the status quo of the early 70's, 80's stand up along with others who envisioned a modern mans comedy and talked about the important and absolute ridiculous world topics to entertain an audience yet give a different outlook on things like censorship, society, environment, politics, and the church (which sadly enough was the reason Lenny Bruce was prisoned and eventually unable to perform his routines anywhere, and then committed suicide).

If you're really offended by his comments, I wonder how you would feel about Carlin's routine about RAPE. lol

Aye, I liked the way you summed that up Rodrico.

Oh speaking of Carlin, he'll be doing his routine at Roy Thompson Hall on Nov 18th. Tickets are $69.50 to $89.50.

Anyone wanna go?

Thinking about it, its also Lucas's birthday that very day, so there may be OTHER plans in store though
