I'd be comfortable with most genres really, but if it would be trance, I would use older productions since I've lost most of my interest of newer trance production about 2 years ago.

I am not familiar of this Global Excursion you talk about. Could I be a part in it. Sounds fun and if it has anything to do with djing I'm definitely down. For a theme can i suggest acid trance... if it hasn't been used yet. and I have lots of those records thats pretty much all i collect as far as vinyl goes. if whoever doing the mix is borrowing music from other people just let them know I don't mind contributing a tracklist.
I still havn't heard any of these mixes yet either, is there any chance someone could recomend me a cd? whichever one is best, my taste is pretty well diversified as long as its in the trance domain.

anyhow, this Global Excursion cd sounds a good time... why would you want to stop making them?

I agree, but it's going to be kind of silly if the person before me is spinning at 140 or something...

was it cd4 you took part in? i remember you mixing a pitched up house tune (around 136bpm i think) into the middle of a bunch of trance tracks & i thought it worked beautifully.. really added a dynamic to the set without making it sound random. more stuff like that would be great

clovis took part in one too & mixed in a breaks track.. i'm all for blurring lines between genres providing it's done by people who know what they're doing

+1. hopefully somebody can continue the series (at least end on lucky number 7), or start up another.
