He seems to have disappeared off the face of the Earth recently, but his Samplitude albums back in the day were probably the first house albums I ever liked. Only heard a couple of his sets so I can't really judge on his DJing ability yet, but his productions were quality.

Cheers for all the links, btw. Downloading a couple now.

For those of us with hard drive space problems, do you by any chance have a link to tracklists for those sets? Not to say that I judge sets by their tracklisting, but I can only really dl one right now and want the most bang for my buck so to speak.

Thanks for all the uploads though.

Wow, if Olav is similar to both Luke and Desyn, I'm downloading one at random. Thanks again!

Monkey Dancer 2 and it goes a little something like this...

i must admit that it is tough to compare a dj to desyn because of his unique style. if i had to make some recomendations along the same lines i would have to say....

dudu soldoni (newbie that has been rockin it as of late!!)
ricky ryan (check out his essential mix - great stuff)
steve porter (he can definitely get funky!!)
luke fair (ohhh yea!!)

let me just preface this by saying, i'm seriously not trying to shamelessly whore myself.

guys like Desyn, Luke, Ricky Ryan, and Demi are some of the DJs i admire most, so you might happen to enjoy my mixes, since i am definitely influenced by their specific styles as far as track selection and programming goes...

I finally listened to the majority of your set and I wanted to tell you that you are as good, if not better than Desyn and Olav. Your trackselection was superb and mixing was amazing. Please post some more links to your sets. When you are in Los Angeles let me know, so my wife and I can go hear you spin.

wow, thank you so much for the kind words!

i must clarify something though... both of my mixes were put together in MixMeister Pro so i cannot take full credit for the transitions. i've only been spinning for maybe 6 months now, so i've got a ways to go until i can pull off continuous mixes that perfect and seamless on real decks, heh. DJing is just something ive been doing for fun and for love of music, but if i ever get cool enough to score gigs in LA i'll certainly let you know!

anyway, i'm glad you enjoyed the mixes!
