-- "Exotic" beers

Theres this place in Gainesville called Stubbie's which has 255 different kinds of beer from all over the world. It's a really cool place, but I'm not 21 and they ID like crazy (check the hologram, check the corners, hold up the picture to your face, etc) so dont even try using a fake. I only got in cause i was with a 21 yr old friend and said I was the DD. (they X'd out my hands though ;( )

| Originally posted by Allied Nations I love Desperados, another tequila based beer from Germany... Didn't like Salitos as much... I HATE Cobra! One time it was all they had at this party in India... ugh... Kings (Goa only) is the best, and Kingfisher a close second. Cusquena (Peru)(Best beer in the world) I could list a whole bunch, but Cusquena is where its at. |

| Originally posted by infinity HiGH Thats true, although my experience with good american beer is limited to Sam Adams. I'm sure there's MUCH better beer available too. Same goes for Canadian beer though. The most popular stuff like Molson Canadian, Kieths and all that are just crap. All of them share that cheap aftertaste. The microbreweries though, have some great beer. |
