Whats that Kelly? I could have sworn the tigers won yesterday?
Am I mistaken?
And the series is coming back to detroit now?
And your pitching staff is beat up and old?

I know I'm having some fun with this, don't know how many yankee fans are.

it's pretty hard not to root for the tigers..... they are basically playing against an all-star team, and yet they find a way to compete.

i'm actually surprised they won a single game.

With all the pitching the Tigers have, I can see them taking the whole show.

Heading to the game in a couple hours, Tigers could wrap it up, lets hope Bonderman pitches half the game that Rogers did yesterday.

40 + years old, that guy was fuckin incredible!

After the game he looked like the mummy returns all wrapped in tensors and ice bags, but you couldn't rip the pride he was feeling out of his body.

Holy shit that was unbelievable...

The entire city was going nuts yesterday, the stadium was literally shaking throughout the game.
Bonderman pitched the game of his career, when he was finally pulled from the game after going into the ninth having only throw 99 pitches the crowd went so nuts for a send off that it was almost overwhelming.
Then when the tigers won, they went into the clubhouse, only to return to the field champagne and all running up and down the sidelines jumping into the crowd onto the dugouts spraying everyone.
In all my years of watching sports, I have never seen that.

It was a good day to be a Detroit fan yesterday!

I'm getting excited just thinking about it!

1-2-3 jump, 1-2-3 jump!

Tiger Time!!!!!!

Posted by shanny on Oct-12-2006 00:17:

Here we go again!

Tigers vs. Oakland.

Tonights game will definately be a little bit somber and different though, following Cory Lidle's plane crash in New York today, he used to play for Oakland.
Thoughts and prayers with his family.

Tigers Win! Tigers Win!

I would have to agree with you on that one, at the very least they are in quite a bit of trouble now.

Posted by Orko on Oct-12-2006 19:15:

It was honestly depressing to watch the game, because you could see that they were no match.

Everytime they got a run, and tried to come back, the Tigers would add just a few insurance runs to remain in the lead. If they have made such swift work or the A's first two starters, at home, it does not look good heading back to Detroit.

Posted by shanny on Oct-13-2006 22:46:

Tigers winning again!
Kenny Rogers is pitching another beauty, 2 hitter into the 7th.
That guy is unbelievable.

Posted by Orko on Oct-13-2006 22:48:

So depressing
