No disrespect to Eddie G. He does he thing and he does it well, but since when is Eddie G the final word of who is "done" or not? Is he the PvD of the South Florida trance scene now? I don't think so.

Suzy Solar will rock any club and have any club packed.. be it Metropolis, Pawn Shop, Club Deep... or your Saltwater. So you should think twice before posting maliciously about other promoters like that.

Its a very nice venue, pretty big in size and pretty clean. It got nice lights with killer 3Watt green lasers! Dont worry about wearing kevlar to that place...

I was hoping to keep this a private matter but obviously its too late. Regardless of Jays actions, he was the one who originally contacted Suzy about doing their birthday parties together, weeks prior to this. On Monday of this week, Jay contacted us again and said he was no longer working with Saltwater and that he was going to try to find a different location for the birthday parties. He first tried to get her into Pawn shop with no success then called on Tuesday to say the location was now going to be Metropolis. Since it was already Tuesday and 3 days is not much time to promote for a show, I made a post on here about the location of Suzy's birthday party. Shortly after I was contacted by Saltwater with all of this bad news regarding Jay and about doing the show there. This put me and Suzy directly in the crossfire of a very uncomfortable situation, one that we usually avoid by having her booking agency handle the bookings. The problem for Suzy and I was I had already agreed for her to do the show at metropololis and promotions had already started for there. Changing the venue at this point might confuse people as to where she was actually playing. The last thing we would want is for someone to make an attempt to go see Suzy, only to find out that shes playing at another club down the street.
Another thing that concerned me was, if Jay would not have set up this gig at a competing club, would Saltwater have even called us this week? It didnt appear to me that they would have, based on a few facts. The first, Suzy's name did not appear on the Saltwater 10-6-06 flyer (the one with the ass on it) that was posted yesterday prior to all this. If they intended on having Suzy's bday party there, why no mention of it in this weeks advertisement? Also, Saltwater had plenty of time to contact us between the firing of Jay to present and never did until it was known she would be at a competing club.
I stand by our decision to do this show at Metropolis. I think its the right thing to do, which is honor my word. I have no hard feeling towards Saltwater. I appreciate them letting me know about Jays behavior. I hope they can understand where I am coming from with this. I wish them the best of luck not only this Friday but every Friday.

i have kept out of the forum long enough.. i have to say that eddie is defiantly going to be his own demise.. i have over 55 texts from him and 35 texts from me showing the time and the true break up issues..

i am going to say this though if anyone wants to know the truth because i am professional and refuse to bash eddie out of respect for the industry and respect for myself as well as my events, i will show any of u the direct quotes of eddie u can come to metropolis and i will hand u the phone so u can read it and laugh all night...

i have always been loyal to eddie and anyone i work with.. saltwater is a makeshift club with 2 djs that might be watch able with out wanting to pull my hair out as well..

i will say this i never stole a bottle and sold it, eddie called me 3days ago saying it was the waitress even so i guess whatever he can do to get my fans and friends to side with him.. i dont want anyone to side with me or him, i am professional and have plenty of things going on other that eddie g..

TO ADD I SPOKE WITH THE OWNERS OF SOLO AND THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT AS WELL AS THOUGHT I WAS STILL A PART OF THE SHOW AND ONE OF THEM COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT HE WAS HEARING WAS GOING ON.. SO THE ONLY SALTWATER REP. THAT HAS A PROBLEM IS EDDIE AND HE IS PISSED THAT I SAID I AM LEAVING I GOT SOMTHING ELSE COOKING.. FACT!!! I am heading in to the corporate world and have bigger things to deal with than eddie g and his 3wk old �eg team� and the club life. I will still be holding events at many major clubs as I have in the past don�t get me wrong.. Im just moving in a different direction with my companies and I am well involved in future projects.

I want to start by saying I am close with both Eddie and Jay and they both have great qualities. I have partied and hung out with both of them on several ocassions and want you to know what is really going on. The biggest problem is that they have two totally different perspectives on the whole party/club scene. Eddie thinks the people just show up because his name is on the flyer which is not how it is. It takes a lot of hard work to get people to come out these days and he barely even calls his close friends anymore trust me I know. The party is the end product of weeks of hard work. Jay on the other hand sees the party as an accomplishment and usually has a "GREAT TIME" and you all know what I mean. So unless they can come to a mutual agreement they should at least remain friends even if they can not work together. Until then the lying and trash talking needs to stop. By the way Jay has made it known what his screen name is yet who is this "worldsound" Humm?

On a side note I have known Jay for years and yes we have argued a few times but who has not? I know one thing for sure Jay would never steal anything from anyone, those of you that know him know that he is the most brutally honest and upfront person, he would just ask for it! He is hardly shy.

The funny thing about this is we don't know who these dudes are.

Suzy Solar is also playing up in North Lauderdale (Pompano Beach) the very next night, Saturday 10/07...

This is an AMAZING venue, very large & spacious with a fantastic oldskool warehouse vibe, over 40 intelligent lights and 16 lasers, a truly sick EAW and Dynacord sound system (you can hear the bass from two blocks away), and SUPER cheap drinks ($2 water, juice, soda, gatorade, and $3 Red Bulls). Great friendly, positive vibes, and TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS IN CASH PRIZES!!

Also, there's a live internet broadcast courtesy of TUNZRADIO.COM, and the entire event is being recorded for later release on DVD and MP3.

Why all this drama in this thread??? The title is Suzy Solar @ Metropolis, and apparently a lot of people on here know and/or want to support this DJ and event. Instead we have 2 promoters who decided to air out their personal hatred towards one another and issues in here. Give it a break already, this is not the place for it. Sue each other, kick each other's assess, or leave it alone already.

So is this event still happening or did Metro close again?

the suzy solar event at metropolis will be started at 11pm... it will be $20 after midnight.. say "solar" at the register and u will be in free..

lots of free give-a-ways and tons of frozen freaky ice pops!! great sponcer..

Just to clear the air Addictive Global has take over management of Saltwater and we wish Suzy Solar a happy B-Day and great set. Addictive Global will not be a part of this sad name calling and disrespect of the industry.
