by placing people in a category, i already have established thier personality and dont have to, therefore, form social interactions with these people - which wastes my time.

| Originally posted by Deeman A bit touchy eh Gumble, maybe you didn't actually realise what I was commenting on. It's not the bands playing at BDO nor the fans or even the type of fans who attend. I was simply commenting on Emo kids in general without linking them to BDO at all. It was just a reply to a post made earlier. Relax man, smoke a spliff! |

I seriously doubt the tool fans will come and get me.
if they do, let them come. Tom Waits and this bottle of scotch will save me. Or drive me further into apathy.

Cool dude!
lol Deeman........why dont you get the hash brownies out while you're at it?
pass em round.
hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
LOL GUMBLE tool fans might not, but Harry from Harry & the Hendersons will ok
lol gumble....sure you aint really emo?

lol. where the hell did u pull harry and the hendersons from? i hadnt even thought of that show in years. probably the early 90s? WHO REALLY KNOWS.
in which context are we taking "emo"? Emo as in i listen to the whiny "punk" that is labelled "emo-punk" (which shits me again, as punk isnt about whining, its about destroying the establishment, anarchy blah blah blah).
or "emo", the commonly used term that trys to associate someone to emo-punk, even tho they dont like that music - but have come under a broad, misguided category?
or emo-tional. that i feel things.?
I'm rambling.
what i think is funny is a bunch of bogans liking some rally weird esoteric band like tool. slayer or megadeth you can understand, theyre not very complicated. but damned if your average bogan could tell you what a single tool song meant.

yer, couple of allright acts, lot of shit again.
The Presets, You Am I, The Drones and John Cooper Clarke (seems interesting) and The Streets (although they are getting tiresome) would be worth it imo...
if daft punk is confirmed for BDO then getting mugged for $150 inc. GST in exchange for 12 hours or so in the boiler room is justified!
or even better, maybe they will have a sidegig somewhere?

Sweet
im gona go see tool next year with some mates... that would be my only reason to go, but considering i get to go to their concert CBF Big day out
