I'm skeptical that this is a good thing. A revived Hooj will have to offer something significantly different in vision and attitude to really live up to the name. Some remixes of Resurrection don't exactly make the statement.

If all that a new Hooj succeeds in doing is pushing progressive sounds of a bygone era, it will do nothing to bring progressive and trance out of their rotten state, and everything to prolong the nightmare.

THe question remains: will they rejuvenate the long dead scene of progressive trance or will they just continue releasing that arty farty shit where they last left off?

Good to have Hooj back - I still wear my Hooj Choons T-shirt with pride.

Hoping for some quality releases, towards the labels end they did release some boring progressive / tech stuff. Dont get me wrong I have a large prog collection but the Hooj stuff at the end was uninspiring and had nothing to hook you in. Hopefully they learnt some lessons and will go back to quality.

I hope HOOJ use their heads this time. They jumped on a bandwagon which never really happened, that was the end for me! They should revieve the progressive trance sound I grew to adore.

The Medway remix is only a campagian stunt to say the label has been ressurected. Found it quite funny really.

Heard the mixes. Delicate Imposters mix is my fav.

I highly doubt any great new trance is going to come from this label given how mediocre the scene is, but it's great to hear that they're coming back!
