Call me later man. I may be willing to sell you my DJM-600. I have one coming from Allen & Heath for the club.

I may take you up on that. I know it's in good shape since you don't use it.

one of those two will do just fine...

Posted by Slow Motion on Oct-10-2006 05:25:

Tha V6 A&H is hotter than two mice fuckin in a wool sock... just needs an additional EQ... that will set you back a few.

Posted by progressiveMOJO on Oct-10-2006 06:32:

Xone 3D is sexy as hell. Too bad it costs what, like $2700?

and if you can afford an A&H V6, the pricetag of a separate EQ is probably the least of your worries.

I'd also like to agree with whoever said that all the effects you ever need is a good set of filters. I rarely feel the desire for anything else, except maybe a sampler/looper and once in a blue moon some sort of delay.

and to answer the question, no, I've never gotten to use a DJM-800. I've avoided Pioneer mixers as much as possible because they do seem like toys and the 600/500 have really shit sound quality. But I guess I'll check out the 800, although I have difficulty believing that it's better than the Xone:92 in any way.

Which explains why Zabiela like it

I think you'll be surprised with the 800. That said, I'm just telling you what I know (which isn't much... believe me). You have to buy what suits you.

Thanks for all the input. I really just wanted to start an argument

I probably will stick with pioneer 600 or 800, especially since Zild hates it.

Posted by Zild on Oct-10-2006 15:12:

I hate the 600 the most so get that one.

Oh I did. I learned Dave gets on his roommate all the time.

I used this alooong time ago, if you like rotary mixers (like the allen and heath V6), you can get a decent one like this and for a lower price.
