You know the expression "snow ball's chance in hell?" - well, it's an exagguration of sorts on the idea.

bottom line, "no chance of that working"

This, I find very believable. I don't see how YouTube can be worth so much.

do you know how much traffic youtube gets? apparently not.

On demand digital media through the internet is going to replace TV sooner than later. Google is making a smart move on their part, most likely.

Yeah that makes the deal much less expensive for Google.

I wasn't able to find for sure the total volume of Google shares but at todays market price each share is worth 429$

Based on potential trade volume of 7606719 shares ( I'm not sure if that's what the number means )
current google stock value is 3263282451 $

Based on the market debut of Google and it's stock volume of 19.6 Million shares at the time
current google stock value is 8408400000 $

yeah in either case they got money to spare

I am pretty sure I have the current stock volume way off and possibly way below the real amount. I know that during 2005 or so they put new shares on the market so I'm unable to know the actual figure.

Several companies (the only ones I can remember now are MTV and Vivendi) are thinking of contracting with YouTube to offer some of their content online. Anyone remember when NBC went on a rampage and started demanding that all the SNL clips on YouTube be deleted for copyright infringement? Total bullshit, no one was stating it was their own content and EVERYONE FUCKING KNOWS THE COWBELL JOKE is from SNL

I'm only upset about this because I saw a skit on SNL with a MySpace class at an adult learning annex and it was so funny. The class consisted of one concerned mother and a bunch of peadophiles

Not that having such takeovers taking place is new but we can officially say that the corporate world has certainly been turned upside down on it's head.

Great video

In regards to SNL what really hit it home was the Natalie Portman rap.

The video was pulled from youtube but they noticed how much of a new crowd SNL got after that. Now NBC has this video in question ( and many others ) on their own website.

And yeah lmao with the Myspace skit.

Get video codes at Bolt.

Nice, I'm aware of NBC's online SNL skits that you can view at their website, but I didn't know that the MySpace one was anywhere. It's fucking funny

And the rest of you? "what she said" haahaha
