Best I found was to do it like this:

Work chest hard once a week.
On your chest day do 5 reps x 5 sets @ 185. The rest of your chest workout should include an incline press and flyes. Up to you how you want to incorporate it.

4 days later do 5 reps x 5 sets @ 135. i.e. prior to your shoulder/back/arm/leg workout, however it works with your split.

Next week, add 5 pounds to the heavy day; keep the light day the same. You should be able to go 5 or 6 weeks like this and your body will adapt to the weight. Once you plateau, change your workout up for two weeks and then repeat the whole process but, starting out at a heavier weight than week 1 of the last routine.

p.s. this could really work or I could have just made all this up off the top of my head but, I'm not going to tell you which one it is since you attacked my beloved Reese's.
