It's not about the PS3 "sucking"... it's the fact that Sony should be firing their entire PR department.

Some things are irrelevant (ie HD cables, see below) but the thing with Gran Turismo is downright ridiculous, as well as the rumour of '$100 games', and the PS3's price point (Wii kills them here).

Regarding the HD cables... it's not a huge deal. If you dropped all that money on an HD display, paid $600+ for a PS3... you can't complain about spending $20 on a HD cable. Including the cables would just drive up the price for people (me) who don't have an HD display.

I think the Wii is take the crown this time around if it can build up a solid array of titles and developers behind it. But, we'll see how far Microsoft can bring down the price of the 360.

Personally... I prefer my PC.

I'm almost certain that the $249 pricepoint of the Wii is a game of bluff with MS. We all know Sony can't lower the price of the PS3, and the only other competitor is MS. They can (and I think they should) lower the price of the Xbox 360 on the eve of the other 2 consoles launch. The thing is though, I think Nintendo can easily drop the price to $199 if that were the case.

As for getting developers onboard: they need to show dev's that their platform will make them the most money. Everyone knows how expensive it is to develop for PS3 and 360 as compared to the Wii, so if a lot of people jump on the bandwagon, then I think we'll definately see more developers supporting it. Just look at EA and Ubi Soft. Two publishers who never focused their energy on a Nintendo platform; and now they're probably the biggest 3rd party supporters of the console, just by looking at what the 2 companies are doing with their premiere games (eg. Madden 2007)
