uhhh why not? I'd much rather dj some tunes I didn't love for a living than work for an insurance company or some bullshit.

I don't think i can afford this hobby until i graduate.

I mean, all the stuff i play on vinyl is 2 years old now... But i'm happy with that for practice at home you know...

i'm too damn poor really... That's why if i start getting gigs, i will be really happy. It'd be a huge break for me. I'll be getting money i need, doing something i love, and i still wouldn't have graguated .

I was thinking i should start downloading tracks of beatport etc. But i don't have CDJs. I was jsut thinking that if i wanan get gigs, and do get them., I should buy some music to play on their CDJs. Dunno if that's worth it or not though...

I guess everyone is different. Then again I've never done something as asinine as work for an insurance company. It's that I've done the whole weekly thing before and I find it is for the birds. I'd much rather be stuck in a lab all day making samples for other people to use in their research than be stuck behind the decks entertaining drunken chumps with top 40 music, club remixes, and cheesy vocal house/trance.

Abhay, I think that is worth it. I was buying music from Beatport when all I had at home were turntables because I could burn that music and take it to the club to play so to me that was worth it. Then after a year or so I picked up Serato.
