I am a bit of an effects nut, but of course not overdoing it... I have a denon x1500 (mint for locking in a loop and the sampler isn't to shabby) and a efx-1000. So effects kinda grew on me.

Loops on the fly, and phaser, delay, echo, flanger, frequency killers, chops, etc...

But not too much of course. Too much Fx kills the Fx

I will use the filter sometimes. Sometimes other effects, but very rarely. Gotta be carefull not to overdo it with effects. You can ruin a perfectly good set by using them too much. Done that before.
