it's only a shame that mike (mk-s) & romains' pictures are red x's. i remember mike's second picture was the main picture of him chopped with alot of bass flying around or something.

the tracks would've fit in fine in a Mortal Kombat soundtrack, but I can't really see it going beyond that. Considering today's productions standards, the samples really sound like shit.

Yeah I didnt liked it either, not my taste.. but as its been said in the other thread link I posted before..considering the genre he has chosen for his productions its ok..

And all this whoopla is giving him more publicity... whatelse does he need!

Posted by Ojay on Oct-21-2006 18:57:

Forget "Lord of Bass". More interesting is that "Mikey Mike" got more votes than last year (in the TA polls). Congrats!!

haha purple, you are one special human being.

It only takes a tad common sense that Lord of bass > you and other people trying to jump on this bandwagon in this thread before you..

This is totally debatable. And you're a fucking knob.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh maaaaan.... That http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=277000 thread gave me so many laughs months and months ago. Thank you for recycling that memory that was just as painfully annoying as it was chuckles-infinitum...

About that Mortal Kombat idea mentioned earlier... I don't think that would even fly. Raiden's gonna have to send forth rain on that little party... forget it.

I just looked again to the thread... my god was so funny the Col post was brillant lol
I didn't remember it at all even he is on my sig

Posted by Prototrance on Oct-23-2006 10:51:

I remember the original thread - I couldn't post a reply for three reasons:

1. No reply will ever beat Col's

2. No thread has ever confused me more.................

3. I laughed so much I think I may have wee'ed a bit.

Posted by StanVoid on Oct-23-2006 13:57:

you can tell just how hilarious the original thread would be simply by reading the first line in it:

OMG, you do??

Posted by TrustInTrance on Oct-24-2006 01:49:

Classic thread indeed. Poor Lord of Bass, stopped responding after like 2 pages, the thread just kept going without him. I'm voting for him next year.

HaHaHaHaHa, truly deep and inspiring lyrics lool! Oh man, that was truly a funny thread. But, going back to it i just discovered something...The guy's name is stated as Mike Verros. I don't know if this is the same person, but Mike Verros was a famous psy-trance producer in greece and he was very active between the end of the 80s till middle of 90s if i remember well. He used to record some epic psy-trance tunes in the classic deep-european psy trance style of total eclipse and juno reactor. I think his productions were also known in Israel. He was recording under the project-name "Psychonauts". Is this the same guy?!!?!?

Posted by PETRAN on Oct-24-2006 21:30:

I even found a link in discogs for Mike Verros and psychonauts.

http://www.discogs.com/artist/Mike+Verros

and heres a good psy compilation that features psychonauts and some other psy-trane names (is this the famous psy-trance project Jaia?!?):

http://www.discogs.com/release/289344

I know that later in the 90s he switched to a more melodic type of psy called "morning psy-trance" and that he collaborated with some israeli producers like Luminus. Is Lord of Bass and THIS Mike Verros the same person?!?Both Mikes are based in Thessaloniki...what's happening???

I've seen it, and i must say it shows a softer, 'lighter' side of this dark dark man
