what's wrong with waterman. it's immense. sure it's a bit annoying, but the use of sister nancy - bam bam is perfect.

tocadisco, axwell, sneaky sound system, benny benassi and bob sinclar are the best house producers imo (although benassi and sinclar are very commercial nowayds)

joachim garraud and trek are probably the best house dj's though. not producer but imo
