Didn't you love that sort of stuff like a a while ago Doombot?
Jori Hulkonnen. So clean, but so dirty. A+ production values.

| Originally posted by DOOMBOT Oh, that song is great and I think Mikey is just getting a rise out of people again because no one in their right mind can think otherwise about that song. But he failed to hit the point of this thread again by saying why he thinks it sucks instead of stating whether the sounds in it were clear or not, so I fixed his statement. |
eric prydz mastering is amazing

I think JOC has a pure and crystal sound in all of his tracks. This man is a genious: everything sounds crisp and clear, especially his basslines.
anything by Junkie XL.
And LORD OF BASS.

andy moor's production is certainly 'clear'.. however it takes more than just clarity for something to sound good. on a related note, some productions can sound great without being particularly clear. it's all about balancing warmth & clarity..
o'callaghan & kearny - exactly, springs to mind as being particularly crystal clear, although that doesn't necessarily mean i find it the best produced trance track out there
I think that some of John Askew's track's are pretty crisp and clear, one that really hits my mind is
John Askew-All or nothing
When you say crisp, the first thing that comes into my head is
Ricky Fobis - No Regular (M.I.K.E.'s Electro Shock Mix)
especially that part about 90 seconds in.

Fedde La Grande's Put Your Hands Up For Detroit clearly sounds shit.

| Originally posted by DJ Mikey Mike Eelke Kleijn - 8 Bit Era Production on this is super duper. Brilliantly mastered, crystal clear and crisp sounding kick, and complimented superbly by some rather unusual 'high pitched' (but not in a shit way) synths. Awesome track as well. (Progressive House.) |
Kraftwerk - Aerodynamik ( Alex Gopher and Etienne de Crecy Dynamik Mix )
how on earth can someone say that chicane's halcyon sounds clear?
IMO it's one of the muddiest sounding chicane tracks, if not the muddiest.
i also don't understand how no one has said junkie xl yet. IMO his stuff sound very clear, especially his new stuff (i'm not too familiar with his old stuff)
