Meh, travelling on a US passport is SUPER easy. Very hassle free. Irish would be too, but it's different. I'd always pick my American to travel on, painless.

That being said, get it ASAP!

Also, check pic thread for opera flicks.

Yeah, there really isn't any point for it outside of a few random caveats that will work much more nicely for me when travelling in the EU on an Irish passport as opposed to a US passport.

you guys should research shit before believing what you read.
the announcement made on that website is incredibly one sided.
he was denied entry into america because of one outstanding infraction incurred in the netherlands on his account.
now research that.

Unless the infraction in holland was for large scale drug distibution or tampering with kids then whats the big deal.

well it is kind of wack at the airport. so im half egyptian, half white, born in california lived here all my life and i went to egypt a few years back and when we came back we had to go through an extra search and wat not, so then i went to japan this summer and when i came back i was like interrogated and sent to the extra search all becaues i had gone to egypt a few years back, meanwhile most people who didnt have usa passports went right through with no problem, fuck aye, haha

It's really too bad they treat people this way. I have never had a problem with my US passport getting anywhere. I went on a tour group to europe and while in Switzerland and my bus was all from California, while the other bus with our group was from puerto rico. They had done nothing wrong and Well guess which bus they pulled over and searched. Yes I believe profiling can be good if you have a record or relatives who are wanted for some reason, but I always hear of stories of american born first or second generations who are getting interrogated due to the original nationality that they are. If you have no record and have a perfect American accent does that not clear you? With our technology today we shouldnt be needing to treat people like this. It upsets me but at the same time in ways I am glad that they are taking some precautions at airports to protect people now. I guess im a bit off topic, but about Olav I don't know what his infraction was in europe but its really too bad. I really would have liked to see him. Hopefully new years all of our fav dj's can get in.
