wow. so my first time at CoZo and it wasn't nearly as scary as what i had been lead to believe. nothing freaky going on that i saw and no one really bothered us, but i guess the trick to that is go with a big group and dance like mad so you clear lots of space.

speaking of dancing, holy...i have never seen that many ta's giving it that hard for that long on the dancefloor... danceoffs like every 2 minutes that just didn't end. i was exhausted by the time we left, but it was worth it.

the music was great. the last hr of her set was the best for me. totally lost it when she dropped 'possessed', my favourite dirty track. the great music continued on the drive home (thnx to tiesto circa june 03 @the docks)when we got stuck in traffic for what seemed like forever.

overall, great time but won't be going back soon. fab to see/dance with familiar faces and great meeting some new ones (rachel, cuzo, and geli)

fantastic night / morning ... got there nice and early to jam it up with dekoze and around 9 rest of you fukkers came and party got that much better gr8 seeing everyone. the place was packed but surprisingly the sketch factor was very minimal. good tunes all around except for the time when the Cdj jus went blank right during the build up lolz.

Happy Birthday again Sasha ... you are a king among mankind.

you proved what I said
Everyone loves it and went insane when it was played, Cribby and I don't love it and stood there looking at each other in hopes the pain would soon be over.

I didn't like it either. I also was disappointed with that remix of the Depeche Mode track that was played. The whole track was a tease because you think you'd finally hear the chorus and that main synth, but it never came.

She should have played this version...

Playgroup - Behind The Wheel (DJ Kicks Electrocash Mix)

one of my all time favs too

The version she played was...

Depeche Mode - Behind The Wheel (Lexicon Avenue Remix)

I could be wrong though, because I only heard it slightly from the patio...but it sounded like this one.

CoZo's soundsystem is too good, im regretting not wearing earplugs yesterday...my hearing is back to about 90% ...a review of the event itself a bit later when im out of school for the day.

All I knew was that I recognized it from Sasha's Fundacion album, but I knew it wasn't the same remix as the album.

my ears still hurt today.
I now know for next time...

earplugs are my answer!

Posted by FunkyCrew on Nov-06-2006 13:38:

Looooooooooooooooove is the answer

Interesting that you guys are saying that it shot your hearing down. For me, what hurts my ears the most is the high-pitched sounds of like Viva, not the boom-boom-boom of CZ.

yeah..my ears are almost back to normal. The funny thing is, I wore earplugs to sleep Saturday night cause I live on campus, and well, people are kinda loud Saturday nights.

But yeah, my right is worse than my left ear, as my right ear was pretty much facing the speaker most of the day.

Speaking of which, CoZo is terrible for meet & greets, because you have no idea who you're greeting until you hear their voice. English Rachel got it the worst I think. It slipped my mind that you'd be there, so when I see some blonde girl run towards me and give me a huge hug, I turned to Sasha, and gave him this look that said "Who the fuck is this gorgeous, hot blonde girl?". But it's all good we got it sorted out.

Forgiven, JUST!

Great to meet Cribby, Sticky Shoes and some other dude TA but I forgot his name (very sorry..)

I had a bit of a messy zone day. Left at 6pm... then chilled with Rachel and ate all her chips.

thanks babe. xx

Posted by _EuG_ on Nov-06-2006 15:57:

what is this trend of the zone becoming less and less scary/sketchy???

Posted by English Rachel on Nov-06-2006 16:30:

Depends... when I was there 2 weeks ago, it was mega sketch!

This week was tame, as will be next week as AA is there.

All depends on the number of TAs I think!! Direct correlation - more TAs, less sketch!

BTW Engine9 and Extasie did I meet you? I thought I chatted to all the TAs....
