Better than increasing spending without balancing your checkbook . I mean really there is no defense of republicans on fiscal responsiblity ... absolutely none. They have been the worst kinds of "democrats" those who tax and spend whilst forgetting to tax.

well this just means i can finally go on the offence against a majority that will most definately see as much if not more spending.

You couldn't go on the offensive against a majority house and senate congress and an executive branch that has done more to expand government that any other government in the past? Do you really care about the issues?

think when exactly was the last time we saw the greatest expansion of government. it was WWII.

when an economy as large as ours can double itself inside a decade then some spending is going to be in order.

with the Dems in power the idea that that spending is going to go hand in hand with higher taxes should make you cringe as we crest our last years of phenominal growth.

i'm not making any predictions right now other than what i've just stated and what i know to be true about Dems historically.

Please ... just stop now. Do you know why the federal government was able to exapand so much following WW2? Does that bear ANY relation to current events? Seriously, don't bark up trees you can't follow up on. Pretty please with sugar on top, let me know if you want to continue this argument on fiscal responsibility. I swear to god I will hound you to no end on it and keep sending reminders long after the argument has concluded ... because I have no doubts as to its resolution.
