I heard you man, $60 dollars is a fair amount of money when your unemployed like me.

But I'd say my purchase was well worth it. Theres some issues with the "online lobby system" that needs to be worked with and patched. But you'll soon forget about that once you have performed your first execution.

Single Player is insane. Trust me.

But you can always save money and rent it.

Hmmm - Probably not, but the level of immersion is easily as good as both Half Life games.

It's a bit of an apples and oranges comparison though, as GOW isn't a FPS.

Like I said earlier, I think a good comparison would be to how I felt about the first Contra game on the NES. Frantic, almost arcade style gameplay takes on a whole new meaning in this game.

It's better than any of the Halo games - Granted, IMO that's not that hard to do, but many would disagree with me there.

Halo's just a well done FPS, i dont think it was anything extrodinary.

GOW is really wicked bad sick. Sneaking up behind the last surviving enemy and cutting him in half with the chainsaw is very gratifying.

my only problem is i wanted the machine gun to sound ballsier..but meh everything else is extrodinary.

Indeed - And in a world where a "well done FPS" comes out every other week, I thought it was fucking dreadful that people thought it was a "killer app" or "system seller."

What makes this more exciting is that everyone thats aready dead is watching you play. Which kinda pressures you do your best In which you go and pull a stealthy chainsaw kill....

And the whole room goes crazy over the mic telling you how sick that kill was. Very satisfying feeling...

And yes, this is one of those games that even when your just watching someone else play its still fun. Think about that for a second.

We still had about 20 left at my best buy as well as 12 or so of the premium, and we sold a lot of it.

There are certain aspects, though, that we can compare, between the two. But that's only when it's regarding a cross platform piece of software.

Perhaps, but I still think there is a fundamental difference between the majority of console and pc gamers that renders the whole debate between the two utterly pointless.
