I just spat my drink everywhere!!!!
FFS, THAT is funny!
Wow, that was nice.
Although it is completely stupid for the average joe to do, if you are already dying, then whatever.
If I knew I only had a small amount of time to live, I would probably do all kinds of crazy shit.
You live once.

The train in the clip is the German Inter City Express top speed is ~300 KMP/H. It's the second fastest train in Europe after TGV.
The Indian train won't even run more then 30Km/H with this much load. Top speed of Indian trains < 150 Km/H
That look crazy. I was wondering what he was holding until I saw the suction cups and rope. At least he had "tools" instead of just jumping on. He had nothing to lose.
How could he breath?
I guess it's not stupid when you consider the guy had blood cancer. Still, I wouldn't wanna wipe out at 250km/h. They'd have you wipe you off the tracks with a sponge and that ain't no way to go out.
Still, the man obviously had balls for doing what he did. I think it's a hobby i'd recommended only if you have a terminal disease.

Exactly what is dangerous about this? He is secured safely, the train window is secured safely as well. The worst thing that can happen is if you swallow a bumblebee at that speed. besides that, there is absolutely nothing dangerous.

"How do you breath in freefall?" -- Through genetically developed gills. This falls into the realm of urban folklore. One CAN breathe in freefall - if it were necessary. However, due to the high speed of terminal freefall (and much higher speeds in vertical freefall dives), the jumper's body is exposed to O2 molecules at a much higher rate than someone walking around on the ground. The body is able to absorb the necessary O2 through the skin. This is why jumpers flap their cheeks in freefall, it presents a larger surface area to the airstream for oxygen osmosis. Once under canopy, the jumper resumes breathing normally. This is also why jumpers do not jump on cloudy days or when they might risk going through clouds. The moisture in the clouds can condense on their exposed skin surfaces preventing the absorption of the necessary oxygen resulting in suffocation. AADs are recommended for jumpers in climates where weather is a factor. |
^^ whoa i had no idea. Interesting
my friends brother used to this on the subway.. he and a mate was out one time, my mates brother jumped off, but the other guy only had to take one more stop.. and he got decapitated while being in a tunnel..
