Trooooot Nixon. Trooooot Nixon is a horse's ass. He's the meanest....he sucks the biggest penis. Troooot Nixon is a horse's ass.

J.D. Drew was the co-captain of my all injury team. Frank Thomas was the leader. Juan Gone Gonzalez. My ace was Kerry Wood followed by Mark Prior. Carl Pavano is my 3rd starter.

Blue Jays might give Frank Thomas a nice pay raise. For base salary alone, 2 years, $23M - up from the $500,000 the A's paid him last year

I laughed when I heard this on the radio...

I love how overpaid MLB players are....

Wes Helms got something like 7 million for a couple years.... and I didn't even know he was still in the league...

This has been a rumor every season since he left the Yanks... not the closer part, but him coming back... but this season they spiced it up and made it more convincing throwing in closer?

Its a pipe dream... and everytime I hear it, I say, "if Rocket ever came back, I'd be a sox fan again..."

my point: not gonna happen....

Mets reportedly sign Moises alou to a 2 year deal...great another aging outfielder who breaks down alot.

Soriano has reportedly been signed by the Cubs - 8 years, $136 million

The wind in Wrigley Field should boost his home run numbers

Huge move! Although I agree that Wrigley should be heaven to hit in, he was playing for a fat contract last year and that always boosts your numbers. So I think it'll be a tradeoff. Maybe like a 40 HR, 30 steal guy next year. Sori led the league in OF assists, that was interesting.

I love Sori even though he swings at everything, especially those sharp breaking balls in the dirt.

Sori = Fantasy God

Yankees resign Mussina at 11.5 million a year! Yikes. I would have thought they could have sealed him at about 8-9 million a year but oh well. I hope he starts at least 30 games next year.

Apparently the Yanks are in talks with Shea Hillenbrand to platoon 1B with Giambi! SHEA HILLENBRAND!!!????? First of all, he sucks cock, second, he's a total loser in the clubhouse. What the fuck is Cashman doing? Also, according to the Yankees Mailbag, the Yanks aren't even going to consider going after Zito. HELLO?? He wins at least 15 games a year and never gets injured. He's worth at least 12-13 million a season.

A little OT - Ryan Howard wins NL MVP, the year after winning Rookie of the Year (Cal Ripken is the only other player who has done that)
11 awards in 2 seasons is simply sickness

he's also gradually slipping since his cy young year in 2002

ummm... I'd rather have Zito over Moose at 11.5 million... ANYDAY!

Sox should just pony up and get the Rising Sun and Zito.... lay the smack down once and for all...

I'll take them both. I dont know what Cashman's problem is about not going after Zito. It's not like the Yankees dont' have money. Besides, we can't let the Gay Sox make the biggest splash of the offseason. IT's all about the Yankees...always! WE ARE ATTENTION WHORES.

exactly, the least the Yanks could have done was outbid the sox, and take all the attention they're getting... and just not made him a contract offer...lol.... and just get 30 days of attention whoring without spending a dollar!!!

Morneau over Jeter or Mauer for MVP is ridiculous.
