Spending 5 days back at home with Myra and my family, playing a weekends worth of Christmas gigs with Myra and two of my best m8's, and in general, escaping from the monotony of schoolwork, if only for a few days.

I really can't wait for Christmas this year...

The one where you wondered if people thought you were a jew.

I just looking forward to spending some time alone with my wife.

But srsly, this last year has been nothing but us running around, with the wedding, our engagement party, other weddings, just a whole lot of stuff. The last couple times we travelled home for Christmas/other family events it was very hectic and generally more stressful than what it's worth.

So this year we are celebrating Christmas by ourselves and NO travelling. I'm sure it will be nice and relaxing and it will also remind us how nice it is to spend Christmas with family, which will give us something to look forward to the next year.

Billy, you'll shoot your eye out!

edit // I'm looking forward to the 24 hour "A Christmas Story" marathon on TNT

Posted by RandomGirl on Nov-13-2006 00:10:

My number one thing that I enjoy most about Christmas is our annual family Christmas reunion

I love seeing all of my family and eating lots of good food.

One of my favourite things is to sit and have a Christmas movie marathon, complete with Peanuts Christmas, Garfield Christmas, Rudolph, Frosty, and anything else I can force my roomie to watch with me

Did I mention the good food?

Oh and I don't mind presents, but I dunno.. I find the whole present thing to be incredibly stressful. Most of the time I get a load of crap I don't want/need. I never know what to do with it, and I hate having extra clutter. Then I stress about what to get people, and where I am gonna come up with the money for it.

AND I ALWAYS get sick like 2 days after Christmas. The last 2 New Years, I was sick as a dog and either stayed home, or went out and felt like serious shit.

Meh, this post took a negative turn.

Ummm, yea, family!! I GET TO SEE MY FAVOURITE COUSIN EVAR!! Yay!

Posted by idoru on Nov-13-2006 00:53:

Eh, doing the usual "family tradition" stuff we do every year, which is fun. Dunno what else I'm really looking forward to, I just like the whole feel of the Christmas season.
