You make it sound like a bad thing...

Usually between 11 and 12:30. There is also sometimes a pre-bedtime nap from 10pm onwards.

Same bedtime for me but I don't get up until around 7:30ish .. and this week even that is too hard. I find myself hitting the snooze button one too many times

Yeah, I like sleep... a lot!

Posted by _EuG_ on Nov-15-2006 16:11:

its important to get 7 - 9 hours of sleep each night

Posted by Cribby on Nov-15-2006 16:37:

The more sleep I get at home, the higher chance of me falling asleep in classes...I used to go at 12:30 - 2...but now I try to sleep 5 hours one day and 7 the next.

Posted by Yohan on Nov-15-2006 16:54:

Around 1-2am and I try for min 7hrs every night.

I get cranky if I don't get 24hrs of sleep per day though

M-F : Usually around 12:30-2:00am, bc work at 9, so need to be up by 8am latest.

(though I would LIKE to be in bed by midnight, and up by 7, but that never seems to work)

S : Usually 3 or 4am if I stay home... if I'm in Toronto, ie. at cubs, I dont sleep.

S: Usually 1 or 2am, when I arrive back home from being in Toronto!

7 - 9 is wat you should aim for, 8 is the best... specialy if you are working out, its realy important to get the proper amount of sleep, for you body to recover properly

And then he went on a expedition to Antarctica during the summer when there is no night. All day he stayed awake, for the whole 3 months.

Obviously there is some debate over how much sleep a person needs because it varies - the best way to test how much sleep you need is when you have a holiday or something, or even just 1 or 2 mornings where you can wake up without an alarm, go to sleep at the normal time and allow your body to wake up on its own.

This should tell you how much sleep you need. When I do this, I consistently need 8.5 hours. Sadly I usually only get this on weekends if I go to bed by midnight (because I can't sleep later than 830)

Sleep is good!

must be nice

me on the other hand..i cant sleep longer then 2-3hrs without waking up. so on an average night ill wake up 2-4times..really sucks

but Im usually in bed between 11-2am, unless im working the graveyard shift then im sleeping during the day

I used to go to bed anywhere between 2am and 5am during the week, and get up around 7:30am.

The past few months however I've been going to be between 12am and 1am and getting up around 7:30am. Being in 4th year and applying to professional schools I really can't afford to be getting only a few hours of sleep and running as a zombie all day.

I'm much more of a night hawk though. If I could I wouldn't be going to bed until 8am.
