Here's a weird fact: My picture is in the 2000 Guinness book of world records. When the Riddler first came out, i was one of the few people that was allowed to ride for "media day." Basically my job was to miss a half day of school, go to magic mountain and ride the Riddler 31 times in a row and just let the media take picutres. I was in a store one day flipping through a Guinness book and accidently found my picture!

It's quicker to fly to spain than to drive to any of the nearest coastlines, plus you won't get chlamidia and some sort of needle stuck in your foot on the beaches there.

I didn't spend much time in the midlands when I lived in England, it was either South or North for me (or Scotland). I lived in Devon for a while, and there were so OK beaches there (so many rocks though!). And north, well...there's Blackpool

Where in the Midlands though Ian?

Vietnamese noodles or a 5 star seafood restaurant on the bay with the days fresh catch waiting for you we have it all. As far as events and festivals, Seattle is not short handed in that area either. During the summer there is sea fair with the World famous Blue Angels doing their breathtaking stunts over head and giving one hell of a show. The hydro plane races also take place during this time. There are beer festivals, science fairs, and celebrations year round. The City of Seattle itself only gets 40 inches of rain a year, much less than foot hills in the rain shadow. Indian summers, colorful falls, snowy winters, and life giving springs all make up the rich environment we live in. With a sport, activity, and fair to choose from every season, there is always something to look forward to. We also boast a powerful technology center with some of the worlds most powerful companies such as Microsoft and Boeing residing here. A high standard of living and easy to grasp. It is a land of life, a meeting of cultures, and a communal sense of ownership that leads our fair city to be one of the most beautiful, enriching, clean, and lowest crime cities in the nation.
