Tiesto
well lets put it this way. sometimes a track or mix gets done in 2 or 3 days and sometimes it can take a month. do you think that a dj touring as much as tijs will have the time to do everything in the studio all year long? do you know that dance music is the only genre where a "producer" is supposed to be the writer, performer, engineer and artist all at the same time or they get dissed? Tijs told me that in all of 2005 he saw his house for 20 days. I have worked in the studio with Tijs and BT and I will say that while he isnt a world class engineer perhaps (neither is quincy jones), he knows his shit, he does come up with the ideas, and he is fully capable. I had him running logic at BT's place in 20 minutes, and he has extensive experience with nuendo and cubase.
i think the guy since 99 he was referring to was geert, but i could be wrong. and wait till u guys hear some of this new stuff he did with mr binary universe... wow...

I want more of that type of stuff if possible. Maybe even a techno version or a new hard trance remixs of Gouryella or Magik Journey Journey. He is still #1 in my book. Andrew |
sounds engineers are soooo helpful
like noel said, these Djs are sooo busy they need someone to fix the levels, EQ, compression, delays, etc... its time consuming
