You make completely ludacris claims. You do not back up these claims with any valid points whatsoever. You speak solely on your own personal preference. At the end of your claims you will always make reference as to how you feel "the local talent" (ie. yourself) is much better than anything else that is going on in the city and that everyone should support you. Do you have any shame? Seriously.
I may not be the wisest of individuals, but if there is one lesson in life that I do know very well, It is that you do not get ahead by bashing those that are further along the line than you are and than proceeding to shamelessly promote yourself.

I am one of the most fical people you will ever meet when it comes to mixing, I don't think I've ever heard a trainwreck at TiL in my 10+ visits. What DJ are you referring to Ryan?

Your opinion was brought up in a forum which is also an argument on your behalf. We are dissagreeing with your argument, but the only addition is we have valid points and arguments to back up our opinions, which makes this "open disscusion" which "YOU" started, totally free.
If you didnt care about "our" opinions, then you wouldnt have posted yours.
Im not trying to be an ass, just bringing some clarification.

well at least you dont call me an idiot. stating your opinion is great but to belittle me for feeling a certain way is just wrong. especially on a site like this. im really glad everyone else is having fun...people who know me know that i was always out and now i just seem to be out every now and then. there is a reason for that and that is all i am saying.

if this is the way you feel than why do you need to come on here and complain to the world? it's rediculous...you sound like a baby.
through your various rants it is blatently clear that you are very subtlely trying to promote yourself, whether you realize it or not. it is extremely unproffesional. you cannot come on here and promote the "local talent" when you yourself are included under that "local talent" umbrella. it is like a professional athlete saying "don't cheer for all the other teams, cheer for this one because we are better" meanwhile the team that athlete is telling you to cheer for is his own. it is shameless and unproffesional.

ryan, quit crying fuck, you voiced your opinion, some agreed and some disagreed.

Im currious to know Ryan, what exactly is it that is preventing you from going to see some of your favourite DJ's?
I need details, because Ive been to the same clubs you have im sure, and I do go out a lot, and have experienced many different crowds at various venues accross the city, and I cant fathom anything preventing me from attending a few of my favourite artists.
I an sincere in my curriosity to this inquiry

Just wondering what criteria you're using to judge the "quality" of a club? If you're basing your judgement on club apearance, sound quality, service, location etc...then I would love to know the System you were attending because the one I remember was a dump with a crappy system. Sure I had some really memorable nights there, but in no means did it outrank some of the clubs we have now. And to say you won't go to TiL because you'd only leave at 3...I'm guessing it's because you don't like the crowd there, so how does that make the club itself suck?...I'm not implying your doing any self promoting, but it's funny that the only clubs you do/did love are the ones that you spin at.
No club is gonna be perfect in every aspect, and I think the clubs we do have do a pretty good job at catering to almost everyone's different preferances.

(unless Carl Coxx was playing at an all gay club where the theme was skimpy leather uniforms with no undies :P ) Then I might reconsider |
some reasons
the crowds... not everyone but at least a few people piss me off every night.
the sound... i think most sound systems sound like ass in this city. at sonic for demi if i stood in the middle of the dancefloor the echo was horrible.
cover... it seems like being on guestlist doesnt mean shit anymore cuz im always told i will get reduced but why is always the same price?
I dont know...its hard to explain but whenever i go to the big clubs im usually dissappointed. actually i do have fun at guv most times though...most people may find that odd. ahahah
even though i have only been here 3 years i can say things arent like they were when i first moved here. just how i feel though. which is why i usually go to places that are small and the dj's are mainly local but the music is always just as good in my opinion. it just seems more worth it to me. please dont say im self promoting. if i wanted to do that i would say "come see me here!" and start a roll call.

why Sasha? because of the conflicting opinions? are people supposed to agree with Ryan even if they don't? dude, when did this "golden era" of tranceaddict take place? I remember a time when I thought trance vs. prog fights were going to lead to a downtown shooting. Things are TAME these days, and not only that but go look at other msgboards, Tribe would have crucified him on page 1.
(sorry to hi-jack topic)

ryan ,honestly i don think those reasons you claimed has changed that much in 3 years.
I think you'r just bored of the club life and need something fresh,It happend to me too, it actually happens to all of us.You just need a break from club life for atleast a month. I think it helps alot. Too much of everything is not fun.
