Sickness is very welcome - but screamy girly house or sets that sound as if it's the same song all night long are not! If it's Electro-ey I'm down. I'll look into their Myspaces. Also I don't care too much about attending a fashion show / parade of the utterly good looking - I simply desire some damn good (my style) sorta music - and an alright vibe. I make my own fun!

I'll bet that the vibe is awsome and it will go right along with the music...

I'm the same way about making fun for myself if its needed.

The Docks will be a sweet jam, imo (same with Burridge, for techier stuff that's where I'd go b/c I don't know how Morillo will play), just meet up with some TAs for a better time at either event.

Thanks for the breakdown. I've got the inventory list now. I'm gonna look for some electro too. If any of you need some party info for Vancouver ever, contact me. As with all nights some can be decieving and others just disappointing so it's good to have some context.

i think its pretty self explanatory, if you're looking for electro house, the docks on that following saturday would be ideal for you.

Unfortunately Guv's 'trance' scene on Sat is seriously lacking.. unless an international trance DJ is booked. Mark Oliver, the resident, spins mostly house these days, and all the other rooms are just house too.

As much as I'm developing a new love for house...I miss good trance nights

Well, I've decided: Lee Burridge @ TIL on Friday.

And just because I pretty much should, therefore have to - Guvernment for Saturday night.

If you see me (recognize from my Myspace pics) come say Hi for sure. I'll be with a friend who's flying in from Vancouver as well.

Thanks for the help and quick responses guys! <3

* Now to contact that Mark Oliver and beg for trance * Hahahaha.

Morillo and Phantasm will be playing vocally feel good house with big energy, that's what they do... BUT for your techy, electro, dirtyness pleasure, the second room features Kurd Maverick, Richard Dinsdale, Hatiras, Simon Jain, and Matt Shaw. All these guys play more on the darker side of the house spectrum. And the smirnoff lounge has Macca, Stretch & Hooker, Tommy Gunners and Anthony Joseph, so a mix of dirty house, breaks, and funky techno in there.

I'm sure there will be tunes that meet your needs.
