All of this talk of snowboarding is making me teh angry. We have no (real) snow. It's miserable cold. And I already have my season pass for Granite Peaks.
snow rawks, but it's 70 degrees out right now.

I love it when after a night out @ club and had a few drinks and being tipsy...u walk out of the club..it's a little frisky...you put your jacket on just to warm you, and you walk with little snow falling to you and hearing the traffic and the angry drivers or the police sirens arresting the drunks.....
oh wtf...i'm sitting here in burlington...just having finished up the dryest november ever on record. it was 65 degrees yesterday, and now it's 30 degrees...
there is something seriously fucked with the weather. at least it's making the news now.
but yeah, pleeeeeeez snow i'm dying to hit the slopes!!!!!!!!!

In Appleton (Where Myra and I play a couple times a month) no, you can't.
Same for Madison.
In Milwaukee though, you can still smoke in clubs.

Originally posted by Zeiter can you guys smoke in clubs in Wisco? here they passed the law so this winter we can't smoke..so you go out...get to the club, give your jacket @ the coat check..pay 2 bucks...now if u wanna go have a smoke...well...u basically can get your coat back but they are gonna charge you an extra 2 dollars when u come back in..so you have to fucking go outside and smoke fucking fast and come back in...I experienced this when I was in Ottawa 2 years from now since the law passed before there and I got the worst cold ever......

Originally posted by lcid the smoking ban has passed in a few areas of Wisconsin, including the club where RJT and i play at regularly... so we're always running outside for cig breaks. luckily most clubs in Wisco are so small that they don't even have coat check. if places are gonna have the smoking ban they need to accomadate smokers by letting them come/go without paying extra, even if it's just for coat check. that's BS!

Originally posted by Zeiter I couldn't agree more with you..it's so stupid..it's like they are going to go on supreme court to make the judgement not worth cause they say they lose clients but fuck..when u go to their clubs, they charge u extra for your coat..saying well..logistic problems..they wouldn't know who paid and shit....cause coat check girls are pretty dumb...

Originally posted by lcid i thought it was cool how NY handled the smoking ban. lots of clubs now have smoking "gardens" kind of like beer gardens, where you can go outside and smoke without actually walking out the front door of the club... and there's all these little rules, like you put a napkin or coaster over your drink and just leave it at the bar while you go smoke a cig... although i feel sketched out whenever i have to leave a drink unattended. i hate coat check so much that when i saw PVD in Chicago, i begged the bouncer to let me back in after i ran 5 blocks back to my car to leave my coat there and then ran back... in the middle of November when it was like 35 out, lol.
updated my avatar.. finally got my santa hat on now.
