Well i think both of you are right. We can use a mod from both sides of the globe for the cor. Including Montana & UMW. From the time difference, they can be effective at different hours. Both are excellent mods now & would do great. The only thing is that i doubt either would be up for the assignment due to the headache the cor can bring & i dont blame em.

Tony? No. While him and I generally get along, he knows that I question his ability to mod. The mods need to be unbiased and past experiences with him have shown that he isn't capable of that. In addition, there's also this little tidbit.

Bobby? Dunno. I haven't seen much of him as a mod, so I couldn't say.

One thing is for sure, and that's that Swamper needs to make the mod/admin issue on TA the number one priority. TA v2 can never come out for all I care. We just need to get local mods for the local section, another one or two willing CORe mods, and a stronger set of rules/guidelines going.

I think what you really need is just a Bayesian spam filter. Train it on all the previous locked/deleted threads and I bet it would eliminate 99% of the crap.

Yet another great suggestion completely ignored simply because Swamper "can't be arsed."

I wonder what it would take for him to pay attention again.

+1, it's starting to get pretty rough in the chillout room again. lucid's done a pretty good job of articulating a base set of rules, but it's tough to enforce them 24/7. when an outside mod comes in, it just inevitably creates perceived problems of inconsistency.

I don't think it matters who it is as long as it's going to be someone who is serious about it and isn't afraid to assert themself once and awhile. But one (at the least) more mod is a definite need in the COR.
