....

i think this track is TERRIBLE
the only reason it s getting appreciated is because of the eurodance pop that the others are coming up with, which is getting too much for the listeners. i agree people like a change now and then, and SVD has some crisp productions, but this???

Posted by ZeJayMan on Dec-13-2006 10:06:

I couldn't find this, so i'm going to have to base my review on the song Green Grasshopper by Sandi & Steve, which is featured on the album Insect Songs.

Terrible. Just Terrible.

come on people its not THAT bad, and for the people that like Adrenaline, the other mix sounds way more like that. Quality release

This is in desperate need of a club play.

But, I like his remix of Dance 4 Life more.

I didn't mean that as a bad thing, because I do like the track

few producers are on Holden's level anyways, even great ones like SVD

I understand m8, but I did mean it in a bad way - And I respectfully disagree with your opinion of SVD being a "great" producer.

I don't know about Sander van Doorn.

Never really liked his productions or his DJ-sets, maybe it's just me, But I feel they're not interesting enough to become something that I would usually listen to.

Not my cup of tea I guess

i love Sander and what ive heard come out of him in the past 4 years, but simply put, if his name werent tagged along on this track, and you heard it, youd be saying "okay, nexxxxxt"... it leaves nothing memorable, sure, it is crisp and well-produced, but in no way is this song anything special... minimal/tech DJs made stuff like this at the very birth when minimal was sprouting up, when i started following it a few years back, so this all comes to be something very unspecial

Go onto his homepage, and its on his latest identity mix.

Me, Personally. I think its rather good, it could do some damage on the floor.

Well I have listened to a lot of popular trance music in the last 2 years. I have found a lot of it bland, generic-sounding and mediocore with of course a few gems here and there. Few do it better than SVD from what I have heard. Maybe not "great" but he is solid overall.

He has his own sound, his "Purple Haze" alias is responsible for some of the best trance this year, and twice this year he has taken two shitty songs (Control Freak, Dance 4 Life) and made bangin remixes that I very much enjoy. This song is not his best, but generally I think he is a quality trance producer.

his dj sets are nothing special from what I have heard and some of his work is a bit same-sounding but in terms of todays popular trance producers he is far ahead of the pack, but for some people on this site I guess that is like being the tallest midget. different strokes I guess

Posted by djdimensions on Dec-18-2006 19:57:

hanvt heard this one but hope its like all other SVD bangers

Posted by TigerClaw on Dec-22-2006 16:49:

I heard this track yesterday on Cosmic Gate's guest mix on GDJB, And I love it, Sounds awesome. Its great to hear SVD trying something new for a change.

Absolute Shite!

Posted by Faust_UA on Jan-14-2007 11:24:

His Pumpkin' turned me into his fan, but this shitty track can turn me into antifan.

Posted by InDeepSpace on Jan-15-2007 14:04:

Not a bad tune!!! Better then most of the trancy stuff Ive heard the last months. But this 1 is clearly a techno tune without any trance elements. Need to have a listen on a good soundsystem 4 checkin how good the bass comes there.

Posted by anthony_n on Jan-18-2007 23:52:

lol
this track is terrible,
the reason why trance is so stuffed atm
is because rubbish like this comes out.

Posted by ahp2002 on Jan-29-2007 08:26:

it's out now exclusively on Beatport
