Frank's is great and probably the easiest way to make a "Buffalo Chicken Sandwich/Strips":

Breaded Chicken Breast
Kaiser Roll (for the sandwich)
Blue Cheese Dressing
Franks Red Hot

Quick, easy and tasty! mmmmmmm.

-------

At the Argo's games this year they had a Frank's taste test where you had to match the 4 or 5 Frank's varieties with the bottles (blind taste test style). The prize was a full bottle of Frank's. Pretty much every game I did the test and won - so I'm well stocked!

They're not Buffalo wings if it's not Frank's!

For best results, use a little butter with the hot sauce (90/10 for hot 60/40 for medium, 15/85 for mild), as it will adhere better.

And ranch is better on the sandwich than blue cheese!

Agreed 110%.

Frank's does have a "Buffalo" version of their sauce. IMO it is WAY too buttery.

Stick with Frank's Regular or Frank's Hot - the others miss the mark IMO.

That's saying a lot, from a Sri Lankan

IMO it gets kinda silly when chicken wings get too hot... Might as well dump the hot sauce in your mouth.

Yeah, the Buffalo version would be for your "medium" sauce. Pussy shit.

k, let's move this to stuffed banana peppers! Bread crumbs, gorgonzola, mozzarella, garlic.

bread, milk, and a prayer book! yes!

This is my tried and true favorite for the suffies: http://www.tailgating.com/Recipes/s...persurprise.htm

I love this one because of the "surprise" element. Totally mischievous - but fun when someone bites into a hottie.

figured that MK knew about the Duff's but wasn't going to share anytime soon. had to find out what's good in the neighbourhood on our own.

salad king!!

I can definitely appreciate a bit of spice, but I don't know how some of you take it to the extremes you do. You can't even taste the food after a while. Hell, if it gets too much, i can't even tell if my mouth is closed

You all must have bowels of steel

oh yah!!

went to that place once and i loved it. I took the hotness level of 3/20 and it was spicey, btu not too spicey...like it.

My friend took 5/20...and that was a bit too much for me.

I cant imagine someone taking 10+/20!!

There's a Duffs here in Amherst that is locally owned (the family name is Duff), and many say has the best Buffalo wings in WNY. I say Brennans does, but it's probably a tie IMO. Everyone in the Buffalo area knows about it.

Zo - with Franks, the flavor it provides is unreal, unlike tabasco, which is mainly spice.

Tobasco sauce = secret perfect guac ingredient

My mouth is literally watering at this thread. I went with some co-workers one day and dared this guy to order a 20/20. He did it for his pad thai and was able to eat the whole thing. He literally was sweating buckets and made it through the entire work day. It's too bad he called in sick the next day because I felt bad and had to pick up the slack.

Posted by jchung52 on Dec-11-2006 16:04:

i put tabasco in my caesar salads. adds a little zing to it. not too much though. just 1 or 2 drops. another good hot sauce that i recommend which is more for flavour is cholula. love it. it goes well on steaks

Posted by CAKE on Dec-11-2006 16:23:

Is burning a flavor?

Tunnel BBQ Hot Sauce from Windsor is the greatest.
