Actually since I'm pretty South its warmer here than it ever is in Toronto in the winter. Thankfully I can drive an hour and be in the mountains though and it gets nice and chilly there

Thank you Graham. I was about to say the same thing. Sure it will be warmer but that means you are sucking in more toxins from the air. I think I'll pass on that. There is TONS of snow in the mountains here, I can wait to go snowboarding woot! If you don't want snow move to another Country, stop wishing my snow away!

too hot to go out, well big deal, you get used to it the way you get used to freezing weather

high 40C's in summer is a usual thing in Mediterranean and it's pretty bearable

Generally continental climate gets colder than maritime or Great Lakes climate in winter. Warmer in summer too.

So you are actually saying global warming isn't a big deal???

We get the shinook here. It was like 25 a couple of weeks ago haha. The mountains suck up all the bad weather and just fire us the warm air.

False Alert of Global Warming

It is a big deal, but then again, the Earth's been warming up gradually ever since the last Ice Age.

The question remains how much of global warming nowaday is Earth's natural warming up process and how much of it is due to human activity.

Personally, I think you can't beat Mother Nature on her PMS.

I highly suggest you watch Al Gore's: An Inconvinient Truth and read up a little more on this stuff. The CO2 we are putting into the air is MASSIVELY higher because of of us when compared to the last 500 000 years. There are some facts in that movie that will blow your mind. Global Warming is happening wether you want to believe or not.

You may like global warming now, but did you like it 2 years ago in the summer time when it was too hot to go outside during the day and the evening for 90% of the summer?

Everyone listen to what Al Gore has to say or what David Sazuki has been saying.

Yes. Because we all know Al Gore is a subject expert on global warming.

Just like Michael Moore is some sort of expert on all subjects America

He doesn't need to be an expert to explain facts. Think what you want, but I think it's an amazing documentary. I just can't believe some people think we have no impact on the environment with all the shit was are pumping into the air. If this is the general case, alot of people are in for a big opener in the new generations.

what rock have you been living under? the heat wave in the Mediterranean over the past 3 summers has been so unbearable that a lot of people have died and even rivers have dried out. the issue of global warming started being tabled by the UN internationally in the early 80's (first world conference in Rio de Janeiro...but then again you may not remember that cos you're to busy looking for rip off gucci purses)

I don't think most people disagree that global warming happens and it is partly due to human activities. It's just to which degree that people disagree on.

I'm less concerned about global warming due to human activity and more on environmental impact of human activity, such as pollution in natural habitats, less availability of safe freshwater for global consumption, etc.

I agree 100% its more than just pollution. It's cutting down so many forests in South America and around the world. Like you said drinking water is becoming scarce for alot of places. I see where youa re coming from and I agree. There are so many variables as to why it's happening, it's hard to decide where to start.
