listen judge jury and executioner
since when did the term TIPPSY translate to drunk and unable to drive safelty
but thats beside the point
someone who is over .08 could be far safer behind the wheel than someone that isnt. THats the point im trying to make!

All i wanted to know was what time RIDE shifts are over at
I dont condone driving home drunk
I think its terrible to put an innocent persons life at risk.
I also am a firm supporter of LADD.

Last Friday, there was a ride program across the street from my work, thankfully they were there b/c I needed the police to assist me with a ISSUE at my work! so I crossed the street and grabbed the cutest police officer I think, hehehehee

Around these parts, I always run into them on the way home from work. Always between 4pm and 6pm! I never think it's wise to hassle them, but I never see them out at say 8pm, 10pm, or Heaven forfend, midnight, when there's a greater likelihood of catching impaired drivers. For some reason, I think they do it when it's convenient for their shift.

With all this talk, I was actually afraid to have a drink at my friends house tonight (something I've never been worried about before). What is the legal limit here anyways?
In DC its ZERO tolerance (meaning not even a glass of wine w/dinner).
The police quota is due by January, this is why there are so many speed traps around this time (Just noticed someone posted the same thing above... not editing shit, fuck off). I got pulled over the other day doing 94 in a 60.. luckly I got away with 5 over.

If I remember right, I think your liver can process one glass of wine an hour? (something like that).
If you're going to drink, make sure you cab it home or drink early and coast the rest of the night (my normal practice).
But the time you want to go home, you should be well into the sober end of the scale.
If you're not sure, don't risk it! Cab it or get a ride from a friend!
[edit] or have a sober friend drive your car for you.
