You know, I tried not to make it too obvious
But yes, this is my LAST night out in Melbourne. I said that for Sunshine People, but Vman convinced me I should go one last time.
I'm not in love with the music, but to get out and dance and get pissed one last time with some mates, not a bad reason at all.
Not too mention to try n get one last taste of the Aussie women

So he played appropriately for the crowd it attracts ie. shit. Shame
What is it with decent dj's turning into crud once they walk into Prince?

^^^ what made the night was Gav Keitel, Dave Pham and Mike Callander they outshines Trentemller by a mile! - 'deer in the headlights' & 'spastik' ftw!

still, Trentemller played a good set by commercial standards

Rasta

It's amazing how the local djs have been tearing these overrated internationals apart. WELL DONE.

spot on G!

Deer in the headlights took the cake.

Also heard audion - mouth to mouth a couple of times

i had a really great night... enjoyed being pissed off my dial with everyone

i enjoyed the music, dont know what Kris is complainin about... oh thats right there was a lack of tech trance ey lol jokes jokes

Some choons i heard pumped by Trentemoller -

Aphex Twin - window licker (yeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa )
Royksopp - what else is there (trentemoller remix)
Moby - GO (trentemoller remix)
Trentemoller - physical fraction
vernis - bubble bath

not sure if i heard Rykketid or not... way too drunk at one stage

i went outside for some fresh air at one stage and was out there for a good 20 mins... did anyone hear Polar Shift by any chance ? thats what i wanted to hear most but didnt... maybe i missed it

was really good to hear alot of trentemoller works and mixes out... they sound so much better thru a club system.

in general i had a really good night, paid for it this morning with a headache

Dave Ellesmere & 2000 and One - Pecan = top track

Yeah, I agree. Trentemoller has always played out to the crowds, so I'm not sure what those of you who didn't like it were expecting exactly. It was hardly abstract, minimal thinking music for most of the night, but I still had fun singing along to tracks like What Else is There and Do What U Do (although that might have had something to do with the 37 vodkas I drank on the night). Personally I preferred it to his set at RMH last year - at least he didn't play song 2 this time around.

But yeah, Pham and Callander were the highlight of the night, no doubt about that - I think they even managed to get me dancing for a while there. Someone needs to make sure they play togther more in the future, because they really did nail it.

it was a decent night. locals upstaged trentemoller for me. virginia started off well. keitel took over the main room and also warmed up well. pham and callander played heaps of tunes im digging at the moment. banged it out a bit but definately the best set of the night.

trentemoller was a bit of a let down. i dont know maybe i thought he was gonna play a little more minimal and tough but it turned out to be more on the commercial/electro house tip. he lost me there for about an hour, didnt feel like dancing at all.

good to see a few ta's out n about

Hey played what I expected him to play. I don't think you'd see him playing his minimal stuff out here or if you do it would have to be a smaller less commercial type event where the ticket prices would be more.

He's pretty much one of the RemixKNGs and he played accordingly. Went there expecting to have a great, fun night and I did. Just like RMH last year.

Aram Chapers was rocking out the back too!

It was a great night!!
The vibe was great, the side room was fun

Bring on the warehouse party!
