and lira, I'm deeply disappointed in you, basshunter?. seriously, i know, you're hailing it in a very tounge-in-cheek manner but this track is horrible. a pure disgrace to eurodance.

Think somebody forgot the "B"...

Posted by montana on Dec-22-2006 01:01:

nope. asshunter is a parody of basshunter.

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on Dec-22-2006 01:17:

Music like this is what people hear and then make the judgment, "Man, all that 'techno' stuff sounds the same!"

Posted by Miss Bliss on Dec-22-2006 02:03:

Lira, you forgot:

* Hot guys
* Hot guys playing video games

And something you and I both (as opposed to just me on the above ) appreciate:

* A beautiful-sounding language

DotA and Botten Anna are his best songs. I like another song called "Hello There", but that's because it reminds me of that kind of eurodance from the late 90's

Posted by eckmek on Dec-22-2006 12:40:

I think almost every song he does must be a rip-off (or a ridiculous cover, like "Jingle Bells").
I think most people here recognize DotA as ripping "Daddy DJ" pretty bad...

But check this out, an old amiga game:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHWlzOBSmh0

Yep, that's right

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on Dec-22-2006 12:47:

Haha, this music is too ridiculous to exist. Especially the "Jingle Bells" cover.

But it is kind of enjoyable in a really perverse way.

And I thought no one would be able to pull that after Kernkraft

UK Nightclubs Vs Swedish Nightclubs:

Sweden:
Club Sthlm VIP
Stockholm

UK:
New Pig & Whistle
(Newcastle-Upon-Tyne)

..Classic, nuff said.

Posted by trancedanne on Dec-22-2006 14:08:

I know one of the girls in the pictures (swedish) of course but UK has some quality too

It was released as the second single from his second album LOL <(^^,)>.

Hmmmm, the Swedish word for computer is "data" pronounced "dota" -- I'm almost positive that's what he's saying

Actually data means data, dator means computer. And he sings about DotA.

No, "data" means exactly the same thing in Swedish as in English... information. The Swedish word for computer is "dator", however stupid teens tend to use the former word for some reason.
And it's not pronounced "dota", it's just plain "data" but the 'a' is not pronounced "ey" but more like "ah". And yes, he's really singing about DotA the WC3 mod (as shown in the video when they're playing).
People did mistake the words in the previous single aswell, they thought he said "bt" (boat), not bot.

And well, the music is horrible and most chicks here don't look like that, it's a video duh. Most are mighty fine though =)
Also the success of Basshunter is seriously a mystery.

I blame the internet

Posted by miamitrance04 on Dec-22-2006 22:14:

wow haha i dont know if its the catchy music or the chicks in the video but its kinda growing on me haha, this guy is awesome!!!

I guess it's because I'm Swedish I think the accent sucks.
