But if the world ended right now, igottaknow would never lose his virginity!

Ok, that's probably not gonna happen anyway.

But we wouldn't see the end of Lost, and Jack Bauer saving the world for the 75th time!

Would you want that, WOULD YOU, HUH?!?!

Posted by Sunsnail on Dec-22-2006 10:35:

Why should the world end just so humans could die out. Why not just kill all the humans?

first off...Rich, you shouldn't have brought up this subject really...

now is life bad? I don't know...but if you haven't looked in eyes of a beautiful girl...haven't experinced a great party...haven't had a bunch of great friends to do silly things with...then yes...your life's bad...but that's not necessarilly fault of the whole race...so...I wanna fuck this girl I met yesterday and if the world ends today...how can I?

another thing is...the christmas stress...but you should be able to learn to deal with it...

merry xmas

(pun intended)

No. Regardless of whether or not we "deserve to end it," if we've reached our pinnacle as a civilization, if what I've accomplished in the last 19 years is more than I ever will in the rest of my life, or you just feel like blowing it up because you're an asshole, I still say no. Only because I fear death.

We just need to bring back trial by combat.

These kids have little to live for -- they're impovershed and in the midst of famine, and yet they're grateful. Examine your priorities.

now i love fucking and shitting- both are so rewarding. but most of my time consists of working my arse off to pay for myself to live + keep a load of freeloaders off the streets.

when i have a day off from work i think of what i can do with my day, but wherever i go i see a load of mindless ants crowding the streets buying fucking christmas gifts and generally being degenerate.

now, my question is this...

what are we here for? to bring lots more pointless lives into the world? with a load of poor kids who will be brought up even worse than we were? and what can they look forward to?

is there anything to look forward to in the next few years? because i think the world has just been getting worse since the 80's.

this world sucks cheese!

I've been saying this for years, but no one listens to me. Nuke this shit hole and start over! The experiment has failed!

It's because they've been exposed to very little, if any, "wants/desires." That's where we, as a culture, have failed. We'd be a lot better off if we eliminated a lot of the senseless things we have. In that aspect, I sort of envy those kids.

Have patience. The next world war should pretty much do it.

It definetly is positive that they are grateful...people who have everything are all "depressed" and have to take medication for it when their medication should be looking at pictures like this.

People focus on their own lives too much and get depressed...I get depressed when I look at the world as a whole...

In regards to that above picture the questions that are raised are "why are those kids impoverised at all?" Because in reality if the rich people and governments of the world got together and helped out, these kids could eat like kings. Problem is human fucking greed...we have the power to fix these kinds of problems but theres so many people who literally own airplanes and tons of other useless things. Not many people who have the means to help these people do so and when they do donate it's a publicity stunt.

The only guy I have to hand it to is Bill Gates, someone who worked hard for many years to amass a fortune and is literally giving the majority of it away through his foundation. People like Donald Trump and the oil Sheiks (sp?) of the Middle East should take notice. Theres a higher reason you have so much god damn money than to buy lots of nice things.

Theres not much one can do about this anyway...I guess what it comes down to is volunteering and helping out on a individual basis so at least you can feel good about yourself but it still bothers me that people who have such great means to help others decide not to. Then again greed and selfishness is very rooted in human nature and always will be.

Do they really need to eat like kings, though? I mean, isn't being able to take most everything we need for granted what created many of our problems in the first place?

I see you have quite a big problem. I'm also a bit depressed because I
can't relax in Christmas time and have to study hard for my following exams at university.

I don't want the world to end up now because I have so much things to do and I .....I can't predict what life will bring me next day.

A far as I know it's not good for anyone to live, spend most of time
in the same place with people you see everyday. You should get out of your life and try sth new... e.g. visit some foreign country with beautiful wild nature. Maybe then you'd change your views. It's not up to us to decide of the end of the world.

I didn't mean literally "eat like kings" but just that there is enough food for them to do so if enough people donated. Almost 1/2 the US is overweight, if everyone took the extra food they eat that makes them overweight and sent it overseas to a place like Africa rather than eating it, children like those could be fed a few times over. If rich people donated some money and maybe bought a normal car rather than a $100,000+ car these kids could eat as well. Not saying that rich people should be the only ones donating either, they just have the most resources to help others and therefore should definetly be the ones involved.
