Man, and I thought listening to Oscar G open up for Sharam was painful.

Of course you didn't make it, the team was arranged before the tryout even began (that's the word anyways), the whole 'open tryouts' thing was just a scheme to reel in money... Registration was $100 was it not? So yeah ... sorry you wasted your bucks bro!

sorry to hear that, would have been nice to have another pro player to share stories of not getting paid on time

dude lol, the word is before u even signed up it was explained what was happening. Nobody wasted their money. before u even put ur money in it was said that the open tryouts were for 2 positions in the TRAINING CAMP. 2 kids made it. one from europe and one from vancouver. From the training camp you have to train, and then make their tryouts against all the scouted people from around the world. Everyone knew this before you signed up, everyone knew the chances to make it were slim. Nobody who signed up thought "hey theyre picking the whole team today" lol. sorry dude but you've said this twice and your totally uninformed.

was it a money grab and a quick and cheap way to publicize the team? yes.

was it worth a hundred dollars to play international players and learn about th sport you love by playing it with people who almost pro from around the world? damn right it was, I would have paid another hundred bucks to do it.

ask yourself this arnie, if you were djing most of your life and you got a chance to spin with some of the best talent around the world but you all had to chip in a hundred buck to do it. would you?

most of the people flew in from different countries from brazil to spain to france to italy. these people trained to become pro there whole lives and couldnt make the final cut in their country so came here for their last shot at going pro. playing with those calibre of players was like a dream come true. i remember as a kid when my brother played in an ionternational tournament i dreamed of one day being able to do that too and that was my chance. these guys were so amazing, not even funny but i learned so much from them. i sprained both ankles just blocking shots on goal lol. these guys shots were rifles. i loved it. plus all the media coverage and the hundreds of people watching me play was honestly my dream come true right there.

Eric, no worries dude, at least you got to where you wanted in terms of even that. Always the positive outlook man.
