I like uplifting progressive trance
preogressive sure does hit the spot at the end of a shitty day
i like uplifting more but prog is good
for those that haven't heard progressive in a club, give it a try
i dont usually like prog, but when i heard it in a few clubs, i def liked it, its good how you can keep dancin and dancin.
some progressive i really do like, even at home, but some of it really is boring
i say prog definately needs to be played loud to appreciate it, play it loud or dont play it at all
trance is no. 1 for me always
Im all for it..

IMO i think progressive is going through a bit of a slump at the moment. its all gone to deep, but really its not deep its just v.minimal. the best types of prog around at the moment are the more tribal and house (bassline) influenced progressive. but progressive can also blend in with breakbeat, tech-house, techno, house and trance.
I found prog is somehow harder to understand/enjoy compare to other kinds (uplifting/Epic/hard etc) but once u find real beauty of it, you cant get out of it !! Last year was progressive year and alot of amazing tunes and album were produced by bunch of artists !! Progressive is getting bigger and it will continue like that !! Even Uplifting DJs produced progressive albums last year (Armin - in motion )
Progressive in very nice to chill too
However I cant dance to it.
Because I like pumping Trance tunes to dance to.
dark prog is the only good prog
Its like peas and carrots.
the stuff Dave Seaman spins. he's got talent.

The Need for Progressive
There is a need for progressive so that more new artists and new material can be put out there. Speaking of which Christopher Lawrence's "Around the World" album is in heavy rotation with me right now. Also check out Jimmy Van M's Bedrock release.
Progressive may not be the most danceable to some people but some of the new stuff out there is well produced and good warm sh*t for the anthemic tunes that get the crowd going.
OMFG! Yes! Progressive is my religion!
greetz
I like it.. when it's loud!
I don't love and I don't hate it. Prog is ok, I used to loathe Proggy stuff, but one night, I'd seriously listened to much trance, I had a packet of cigs, and about 10 cans of beer, and basicially forced myself to listen to some prog freebee cds I had, also I listened to the stuff on some dance complelations I had, and I thought this stuff is great, I prefer more of the tribal stuff, but I don't mind it so much, only problem I have is some prog tracks can be really drab, but when I find a good prog track I find a good prog track some of it is excellent.
I think the question do we like progressive should come with a definition because one can be mistaken about the albums he thinks are progressive. As for me, I've downloaded some sets at dj2kmixes but I can't say I ever liked it more than Trance.
Progressive is deffintely cool...
i like it alot but i need more melody which is why trance and house are my favorites.
i really love progressive its great in a club!
I can't listen to 2 much progressive @ home but when its pumped up in a club its a different story, those beats gets me going pretty fast
*raises hand high*
i love progressive and tech-house!! maybe not as much as trance, but still, i love me some progressive and tech-house anytime!
Progressive is sooo good...I love it! 'tis brilliant stuff! I don't find it boring at all.
