I NEED to hear this song. Waiting patiently for Sunday morning...

For New Years day I decided to try a new trick at the zone, to add to the mentalness of the day.

I decided I would walk around the club blindfolded, with construction ear muffs on, and oven mits on and cotton balls in my mouth, therefore having lost the use of four of my five senses.

That is right, I would only be able to use scent to find my way around the club.

Upon first entering the club I was immediately met by a foggy/moist odour, this is how I knew I was in the right place. After walking by what I figured to be the main door I thought I noticed a hand pressing on my bum, judging from the closest smell that was near me at the time, I think it was a girl, or it could have been a man wearing womens anti-persperant. Either way, I was ok with that.

Following this I decided it was time to walk a little further, which is the point where things got a little frightening.
The next smell that came across me was sort of like a mild-strong cheddar.

This is not all that unusual to smell in the zone, but what was frightening was that mixed in with the mild/strong cheddar smell was the smell of what could be no more than four or five belts, and panic ran through my head!

I ripped off all of my sense depriving devices and ran for the patio, where I spent the rest of the day discussing world religion and folk music.

I said the exact same thing to Carlo....I was waiting for the day to hear it remixed and whut whut...in zone it was dropped.

I myself LOVED Presta...but then again I also love my oldschool tribal. Pure drums. I hadda a blast downstairs by myself while Nada and Jen checked out my man Simon Jane upstairs...wish I hadn't missed that.

Nathan killed it! Holy f*&%!!! Never dissapoints!

Carlo also dropped it. but I had to get outta there and suite up for the big night at TIL!

Tyler....it was awesome partying with you in zone...one venue we haven't rocked out to yet. And thx for keeping my hydrated.

Nada, Jen, Remi, Shanny, Shelley, Justin, Graham, Jon Jon,( although you were up on the STAGE the whole time)Jay, Kelly, Ann, Imola and to everyone else I may have forgotten~ you made my day!!! hugzzzzzzzzz

PINK's official review!

I origonally posted this on HouseAddict. I thought I'd share it here!

It's LONG so bear with me...

Let me start off by saying what a fucking day! Actually, what a fucking weekend!

I was at Zone this weekend on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday. My buddy JQ is the soundtech there so I was his driver for Thursday, Sunday and Monday. On Saturday my good buddy George William opened the club so me and a small group of my buddys went to support our guy.

Let me say that after spending an entire weekend there, and getting to know soo many people, including DJ's, bouncers, workers, bartenders, zone regulars, etc, I am a full fledged Zone addict.

There are people who talk a lot of shit about Zone, but my theory is that they pay too much attention to the sketch that actually takes place at Zone. The sketch will always be there, period. There will be times when the sketch is higher than usual, but if you do your thing, keep to yourself and are there to have a good fucking time, enjoy the music and give'er on the dancefloor, the sketch just fades into the background.

ON TO THE REVIEW:

So yea... like I said I was JQ's driver so at about 10 to 1am, after the ball dropped, me and him started our mission to pick up equippment and get it over to Zone and set up. Long story short, it took about 2 hours of running around and driving from Guv to Zone to Guv to Peter Zurub's hotel for more equippment, then back to Zone then to Guv then finally back to Zone again to finally sit down and relax while the JQ and the club workers worked to get Zone officially ready for the massive NYD celebration that was about to ensue.

J-Prez was the opening DJ. They opened the doors at about 3-3:15AM and slowly began to let people in. Prez spun a really good set playing some zone favorites and definitely warming things up and setting the stage for the ensuing DJs.

Greg Gow was next. He arrived at about 3:45 loaded. LOL. He was saying that Manzone and Strong were feeding him shots at Guv. LOL. He came on at 4:30 and killed it. At least for me. Zone wasn't fully packed the Vinyl Junkies, so there was more then enough room to give'er on the dancefloor during Gow's set. When he was done I went behind the booth and told him that maybe he should show up for work loaded more often. LOL.

Like I said, the Vinyl Junkies were next, and by this time Zone was getting rammed with people. I enjoyed their set, but I was mostly concerned with when my friends were going to start arriving and what the lines looked like outside considering I got there before they opened and was not venturing out of the club. It was sweet tho cuz when I would make the rounds around Zone I would bump into more and more people I haven't seen in a while, including Ni-Cd (You're awesome buddy!).

My buddies arrived around the time that Sydney Blu's set got going. George William and Sydney got walked into the club roughly before the end to the VJ's set, and JQ worked with the manager to get the rest of our friends in, in a timely fashion. By 30 minutes into Sydney's set all of my buddies were in and the party had officially begun!! We all set up shop upstairs and took over a corner of the booths in the back. Sydney's set was extra dirty and extra hard! She definitely is one of Toronto's most unique DJs with a sound that is definitely all hers. When she dropped a new Nelly Furtado remix, OMG!, I don't think I've danced that hard EVER!!! It was a combination of my friends being there and the wickedness of the track that brought the moves out of me. The rest of her set was just as wicked.

By this time the upstairs was picking up with people and Peter Zurub was getting ready to spin some vinyl. The patio was very chill with people smokin their cigarettes or just getting some fresh air. The Zone itself, downstairs, was RAMMED. From what I've heard tho, there have been events where Zone was more packed, but for me, yesterday was the most packed I've seen it.

By this time tho, I was having a fucking blast!! I was bouncing around the club like a New Years baby on crack. I was goin around, tearing it up on the dancefloor, jumping from friend to friend, meeting new people and partying it up with the people that I've been doing this with for months.

During Joee Cons set, George William and myself were sitting out on the Patio and some sketchbag walks by saying "The music shut off downstairs!". George immediately bee-lines towards the stairs. I got up and followed and we made our way through the crowd towards the DJ Booth. The crowd was pretty good about the whole situaytion. A 21 hour party something had to go wrong at some point. JQ handled the situation beautifully. He was in the audio room behind the booth while George William and myself relayed info from Joee Cons to JQ. Within 5 to 7 minutes the music back on and Zone erupted into cheering and applause. Joee Cons dropped the Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way and got the crowd goin again good. He followed that by another track that I can't remember the name of (If anybody knows it I'd love for them to post it), but it was even better than By The Way. I was soo happy for my buddy JQ cuz he got the music back on, and the two tracks that Joee Cons dropped were soo wicked that the experience I had was seriously religious.

So yea... after my religious experience givin'er in the DJ booth with Joee Cons I was soak'n fucking wet and in much need of a break so I ventured upstairs to the booth that my buddies had taken over. Peter Zurub was killing it upstairs. He personally said that it wasn't his best set, and it probably wasn't, but he was dropping some great fucking tracks; some wicked club anthems. Also, it was all on vinyl. I have immense respect for the DJs who spin vinyl. Some of the new, soon to be up-and-coming DJs only spin CDs.

Anyhoo... I spent the next hour bouncing around and chillin' with my friends and running into club friends and making new friends. I ran into Kriskool and Psiico on the Patio. Kriskool: Fucking great to see you honey! Awesome weekend! Psiico: Great to meet you buddy! Also ran into a couple of my other good club friends. Claire, Erica, Penguin, Andrea, Gigana and soo many more. I fucking love you guys.

On to the fucking sketch-check that happened to MEEEE! So yea... driving JQ all weekend and spending all that time at Zone, I got to know quite a few bouncers. I met this one on NYD, name forgotten unfortunately, that saved my life! I had him check on my car at one point in the back lot, so he knew which car was mine. Getting to the sketch-check. I'm out on the patio partying it up with my friends, I decide to head upstairs and see my other crew of friends. As I'm walking in through the front hallway, he grabs my shoulder and says "BUDDY, YOUR CAR'S BEING TOWED!!" Holy fucking shit I booked it to the back where they were lifting my car. I pleaded with the cops to not tow my car, which resulted in them talking with the tow-truck-guy and working out a $65 dollar drop-fee. They told me to go get it, and buddy, I ran to the patio talking a mile-a-minute and actually got the $65 bucks together. I got the majority from my friends, but there were people who overheard me slightly freaking out and actually handed me cash out of their own wallets. This is why I LOVE Comfort Zone. Zone always has the potential to be greatest place on Earth with the greatest people on Earth. Long story short... I got my car dropped, parked it on the street, and headed back to Zone.

Met back up with my friends who seriously helped me calm the fuck down and chill for a bit.

I continued to bounce around until Peter Presta's set. My buddy Alex Drummer, girlfriend Heather, Random Doug, George William, Carollynn, and myself went downstairs and set up shop right in front of the DJ booth. Presta was introduced by Fabian (?) and the crowd went fucking nutzo. The first track that he dropped was incredible. Sick, dark, dirty fucking beat with the lyric "My House!" I stayed with my buddies and gave'er for a half an hour. Eventually the overwhelming heat, sweat pouring out of me, and slight exhaustion got me off the dancefloor. I moved back to the hallway area by the entrance and met up with my girl Gigana. She made a good point about Presta. Too repetative. His tracks were good, but alot of it was strictly repatition. There were moments of brilliance, but alot of in-between was constant beat repetition. I took this as my opportunity to cut out of Zone for a little while.

After a wonderful shower and change of clothes I made my way back into the club and met up with my friends. I basically spent a lot of time chillin' with my 24/7 friends after that. A lot of time spent on the patio and upstairs. I heard great things about Presta's set, especially the end. I unfortunately missed Barato's set cuz I was all fresh and clean, didn't want to go downstairs and sweat my balls off, plus I wasn't in the biggest dancing mood at that time.

I did however perk up for George Williams set. After all, me and my friends are there to support out little Georgie Boy. His set was pretty wicked. He spun a lot of tracks I don't normally hear, especially not at Zone. It was a great vibe upstairs and the dancing was in full effect. Good times overall!

After his set me and my friends decided to cut out, some for the night, some temporarily. My plan was to be back for Deko-Ze's set cuz I'm not, not seeing Mikey on New Years Day at Zone.

So me, FrankieT, my friends Allie and Courtney got back to Zone at 9:30PM to catch the last 30 minutes of Deko-Ze's set. I gave'er on the dancefloor for a couple minutes then went up into the booth to give'er. When I went up there I requested that Mikey put on Nothing Better off of Delicious cuz that's one of my Top3 favorite House tracks. He looks at me nods and says "Yea, I think I can do that for you." Drops it three trakcs later at exactly 9:50PM and the reponse from the crowd was fucking wicked! I almost cried I was soo happy he played it, but I did notice about a dozen people randomly work their way through the crowd to to front of the DJ booth to let him know how much they loved the track. That track seriously completed my night, and I definitely let him know after he was done spinning. Again, thank you so much Mikey!!

So yea... after that I bounced around a little bit like a little monkey but the banana's started to get a little too intense so I said my goodbyes and worked my way out of the club. At one point in the day I wanted to find a set times poster, but I noticed they were all gone. Honey I found the last one right next to the main entrance and I carefully ripped that shit off the wall, rolled that shit up, and booked it towards my car to pass out.

ALL IN ALL... what an incredible fucking WEEK. Started Thursday night and finished right now, Wednesday early morning. Holy shit I don't even know what's going to compete with this for the most fun possible. I don't even wan't to come close to having this much fun for a little while cuz I don't think my body can handle it. LOL. I will say this. I love Comfort Zone. I am officially converted. Guvernment used to be my place, and it still holds a place in my heart, but Zone has captured the coveted first position and it's not letting go. I love the club, I love the atmosphere, I love the intimacy, I love the music, I love my DJs, and I fucking LOOOOOVE the people who go there and make that place great (sketch excluded LOL)!!

I would say slightly freaking was a bit of an understatement..

No Problem.. it was my good deed of the day.. you also were kind enough to pay it back.

Posted by Ni-Cd on Jan-05-2007 05:31:

Finally, Ni-Cd's review!

CC'd to houseaddict.com too

It's been a while in coming but...

Well, this new years was supposed to be something pretty fantastic for the Ni-Cd... it would mark one full year of fully investigating and being involved with the EDM scene, mostly in the house-genre of things. The initial plan was to celebrate it at The Guvernment, and stand in the same(ish) spot I did a year ago to proclaim one year of celebrating. But these plans were not to be...

First of all...for any real nut of electronic dance music...comfort zone's NYD celebration is LEGENDARY. Second of all, a lot of my friends were going to show up at COZO from various NYE parties. Additionally, I was told by everyone I would NOT be dissappointed picking that venue over the Guv. We couldn't do both, because it just wasn't in the budget (or else, that'd be the ideal scenario). However, Leap_frog ended up getting really sick, and NY nearly ended up not happening for us at all.

The morning started with Leap nearly dying with coughing fits; i had just come home from a slammin pre-nye party at footwork, and was very concerned. She decided to sleep the whole day, to rest up for New Years Eve. we were thinking of even sleeping through and hitting the CZ party in the morning.

Invariably, the excitement got to us...so after watching Hackers (and talkinga bout the sound track), we packed up and headed to our friends place to watch the ball drop...

We arrived to some sic beats being mixed by Mat (aka Reerun)

Using some slick DJ mixing software, Matt hammered out the tunes with startling ability. We danced around the living room in spite of ourselves...he was even recording the set so we could listen to it later. If you people haven't heard one of his mixes...YOU SHOULD. He's pretty damn good with that computer! And the tracks he finds.... wow.!!

I bet you've seen this guy dancing @ Cozo... Mike is always up front of the dance floor in front of the DJ booth, shirt off, going NUTS. This is him, calm:

I dressed up for new years...yep, actually sported a tie... because I'm a sic individual. This gal could dance too; she was up at the booth all day at Cozo once we arrived...

So we counted down the ball dropping... and the next thing I knew, my watch read 2 am!!

That means it was time to head down to cozo. We were all bopping with excitement, ready to DANCE IT UP!!

..but first...where's my tie?? Aha, one of my sweet friends borrowed it to dance with... ok...you can keep it. it looks WAY better on you anyways. Aren't those the biggest eyes you've ever seen?? She should model those eye-balls. And we weren't even fried!!.....yet!!

Off to the zone!

So we arrived and parked underground at the university at about 2:30 and walked up to Comfort Zone and saw the HUGE line up.

At first, we hit the wrong line, discovering some 15 mins later it was for ppl who needed to buy tickets... well, we already had ours!! So we quickly find the other side of the line... by this time it is 3:15 am, and they are slowly starting to let people in.

I had to bail on the camera cause none are allowed in Cozo... later i got wise and got the cel out.

So we're sitting in line, waiting and waiting... and i flip out my cel and crank up the MP3 player. OH YEAH BABY.... Vinyl Junkies, from Ultra Spin 11...PUMPIN' out on the celular device. Everyone in line starts boppin'. You know what I'm talkin' about. w00t w00t!

At this time we met a new friend who introduced himself while standing in line with us... his name was houman. He said 'you say it like who is the man' but without the 'is the'. LOL! We saw him later in the night, and he gave me a card about photography...he wants to do some in the clubs...so maybe we'll see some of his shots up here sometime soon! check out his web: www.houman.org

We were in front of the cibc bank machine, and this thinly clad woman comes through the line with this withered looking guy...they don't look like they should be together. She says 'it's right here baby...do you have your card? That's right, put it in... ' and i couldn't hear the rest. They depart, her panties showing slightly under neath her TOO short skirt...and i whisper to Johnny Action and Houman (is that a prostitute??) and Houman says 'yes....yes it is.' a few minutes later, the ho-bitch comes back with her john, and coaxes him to get another $300 (!!!!) out of the machine. holy CRAP!! Dudes...is that what it costs for a desperate man to get laid?? $300 on top of whatever he took out before? Un-freaking-real. So out of my realm of comprehension.

All this while, Leap is dying, hacking and gagging (how's that for descript) in the cold. We chat amongst ourselves about the prostitutes, music, going to tiesto in detroit, etc. You know, normal chat. Then this guy comes up to the bank machine and says 'wow...whats this for?' so we explained that the club is about to open up... he was like 'wow... i'm just going to bed, holy crap, you guys are insane.'

and we ARE insane, aren't we? hahhaha! Our music is underground, baby, and our hours are afterhours. W00t!

So we get a little coser, and I check my watch. It is now 4am. My brain is doing flops... it can't comprehend a club OPENING at 3am, and me getting in at 4 am. ugh...

fifteen minutes later, we're in...and i get my braclet. I got #189. What did all of you guys get? I wonder how many ppl passed through the CZ doors that day.

Ok, so here's where things get funky. There were SO many DJs, and the hours blurred together real good, so i'll do my best to spec this out.

First and foremost.... the Vinyl Junkies...

Last Friday at footwork, they BLEW MY MIND. I don't know what they turned on lately...but they cranked it into high gear. Then...at Cozo... they did it again, but moreso. I only got the chance to hear Vince spin, as oppose to both Val and Vince, but Vince's set was SIC. I made my way up front, and wished him happy new year while he dropped bombs on us.

I took out my trusty phone, angled and clicked...

Dark and dirty pictures, just like the zone. w00t! There's Vince hammering it out. Very nice...

I also have a vid (quicktime required) that turned out pretty good:

U have to right click, save as, then open up with quicktime...weird cel phone file type (won't work in browser)
LINK: Vince of Vinyl Junkies spinning @ cozo
Great track too!!

Next on the decks was Ms Blu....

This gal calls a FOLLOWING. Man, i think of all the DJs, Sydney has the most active fan-club. She commands the crowd, and they respond in kind. It's obvious how much the zone loves her, and how much she loves them.

She was having a blast behind the decks, and the energy was exploding! I couldn't help but vibe along with it. The time that I was there, she spun a lot of electro... which isn't my favourite genre of house...so after a while, i needed a break from the heat and the squelching sounds that I find characteristic of electro and Sydney's sets. I had the pleasure of finally meeting this gal upstairs later in the afternoon (Thanks for the intro, Sasha...i'm sorry the timing was poor--hope things are better now).

Next up to the decks is someone I've been keeping my eye on, ever since Scorpio night in November... he wrecked the drink with an opening set...and each time I've heard him since, he has impressed me with his loops and drop sequences...

Joee Cons!!

I love watching Joee mix...you can see him counting beats very intentionally by tapping the CDJ, tap tap tap...boom! hits a button. Tap tap tap tap, boom, pauses a loop, etc.

I loved Joee's set, and so did the crowd. He must have been good, cause he blew the amps for a good 7 mins (see DannyPink's review). For me, it felt like ETERNITY. Standing there in silence...but people started clapping and singing, and everyone was cool. Joee was clearly agitated/excited, dying to get going again. He held out his headphones to me so i could dance to the sound coming out of them, lol... silence... the tech got the sound up quickly (though for me, it felt like forever) and BOOOOOOOM, out came the beats again, and he dropped some RHCP house choons that blew my socks off to boys' town. I fetched them later.

Joee played back to back two insomnia tracks that blew my mind. Anyone have the track IDs? They were REALLY REALLY good. I had heard the original insomnia back in my high school days...but he laced the lyrics over another beat prior to that track that really got me good. Two thumbs up, Joee!

I was DYING of heat (it was so incredibly packed there, worse/better than I'd ever seen it), so i headed up stairs since i heard ppl were spinning up there.

Unfortunately, i don't have the DJ names for these pics... i didn't recognize them, but they were talented, and worth mentioning... (so accept my apologies for my ignorance)

The style of music played upstairs was MARKEDLY different than downstairs. Downstairs was dirty and hard, pounding. Upstairs played with melody a lot, got some sexiness into the beats, and had a lot of fun. It was still pounding, but a little less dark. Lots of vinyl was being used upstairs too. I don't think there's enough room downstairs in the DJ booth to use vinyl. The DJ booth is too enclosed and unstable with unwieldy dancers around.

So after my break, i went downstairs to see what was going on there... and saw this...

Presta started off his set with some really fun beats!! i really got into it.. started dancing around, and he was having a BLAST! Big smile on his face, and bobbing his whole body to the tunes. It was a great vibe... then the crowd swelled, and i could barely breath, and the heat/smell was intolerable...i couldn't believe how potent it became...so i had to go upstairs/patio for a while and enjoy the beats from afar...

Venturing upstairs (again), i heard a familiar energy in the beats and looked to discover

Simon the JAIN!

He was focused on his set and mixing, and delivered a solid set to the CROWD in the silver dollar. I was upfront, dancing away with one of my favourite gals, Courtney after chillin' with PhatCat for a bit. What a great energy upstairs...not too stuffy, and great tunes pounding out.

At this time, I realized that I was holding Missy's ticket (Miss_sweetness)...and she hadn't arrived yet. It was like... 1 pm at this point? 2 pm? (holy, time FLEW). So i txt'd her.. she said she was on the way. I realized then Nathan Barato's set was about to begin. UGH, can't miss NATHAN!! So i told missy to hurry up! (the rumour on the street was she was with Anas from the guv...oohhhh, the scandal. I hear that's unsubstantiated tho, so shhhhhh).

I waited outside, and they arrived around 2:20...then i shoo'ed them inside QUICK with Random Doug helping out to get nathan's set. I walked downstairs (it had thinned out a bit, thank GOODNESS) and saw my man laying down tracks I ain't never heard before, threatening to blow my mind.

I danced back from the decks for the while watching Mr. Barato work and the crowd go nuts...it's OBVIOUS this guy is a town favourite, everyone was yelling his name, and exclaiming to each other 'Nathan's back, and he's BAD ASS!'

Someone had turned off the little lamp and Nathan was working totally in the dark, so I didn't get any pictures, cause they were all black. BUT, I did get a sic vid so you can hear some of the beats he was laying out...

U have to right click, save as, then open up with quicktime...weird cel phone file type (won't work in browser)
LINK: Nathan spinning -- Whhhhaaaaaat?

The story goes that Nathan lost his luggage while overseas...and had to rebuild/borrow to DJ in T.dot... well, based on what i heard, holy MOLY he got his hands on some amazing stuff... and his mixing, flawless as ever. Somebody, PLEASE, give me a Barato set that sucks, so i know that this guy is HUMAN.

Nathan finished his set off by Dropping as his last full track one created by none other than Carlo Lio... Jon Jon passed the message to me as i stood in front of the decks 'This is Carlo's track!!' wicked. WICKED. loved it, it sounded like a bunch of bleeps had gone to heaven, had sex, and created a million more bleeps, then rained back down on earth in bleepdom. So, until i know the track title, I'll call it the bleep track. lol!

Appropriately, as Nathan finished up, Carlo took the decks...

In the first few tracks, Carlo dropped his very own "Everybody." Do i need to say how much I like this track? Do I NEED to tell you how much everyone loves this track? It's on beat-port now people. WICKED! Good luck Carlo, and the remixes by Nathan/Carlo, Joee Cons and Paranoid Jack are just awesome. Check em out on beat port.

I used this opportunity to crawl behind the booth and meet up with Nathan and congratulate him on blowing my mind with his set. Leap also came up and squeeked some thanks out. I must admit, being able to chat it up with the DJ after the set is a very rewarding experience; to thank them for the job, ask them questions about the set, and get info regarding the scene. Our locals ROCK for being so approachable.

At this point in time, we headed upstairs to chill after listenign to Carlo's set for a while and dancing our brains out. Alex Drummer was upstairs drumming with George William, I believe... and i knew my ears were toast cuz i couldn't hear the drumming real well. :O Sorry Alex, the picture of you didn't turn out there. It was GREAT seeing you though!! So we danced it up some more, and finally I called it... my legs were done, it was time to retire. Leap was still going, though she came home too. She payed her licks though...two visits to the hospital later for asthma, sinus infection and pink eye. CRAZY. Lesson: don't party while sick. DON'T.

Special shout outs... to PhatCat (happy birthday, today!!!), Courtney (mwah!), Edith (tic-tac memories...), Meredith & Sarah, so fun to party with you guys... to Jenn (LOVE dancing with you!!!!!),IllNada--girl, u can dance, loved watching u, Sasha, for introducing me to Sydney, Jon Jon-- love your passion for the scene, and your knowledge...W00T! Reerun (mixin' god), Kyle/Meg (good vibrations), Brian (it was your birthday that day, HAPPY birthday man!) and to Digital, for recommending this party.

Even though it wasn't what i planned for, i had a blast. Too bad leap was sick...but what a party it was.

On a final parting note...be careful with the burger king across the street... i scarfed two burgers, and was sick a while later... I'm *pretty* sure it was the burgers...could have been the heat/exhaustion... but eat safe, party safe peoples!

Next zone trip: Eric Entrena, Feb 18th. Who's comin' with me?!

Once you've heard the same song, 3 times - you've been at the club too long and it's time to go home.

"BUDDY, YOUR CAR'S BEING TOWED!!" Holy fucking shit I booked it to the back where they were lifting my car.

I would say slightly freaking was a bit of an understatement..

No Problem.. it was my good deed of the day.. you also were kind enough to pay it back.

He probably was too frightened by your glasses to not pay you back.

Double good deed points regardless, lending money to a stranger at the zone!

Agreed. Even though I didn't really like Sydney Blu's set, walking in to CZ bright and early in the morning after sleeping all night and seeing the pandemonium that was going on behind, beside and in front of the booth during Sydney's set immediately launched me into party-mode.

The remix is made by two locals boys (help?), and this track is going to be facking massive, it's so well put together. It was Carlo who played it, opened with it I believe...

I think it was Nathan that played it - not that it really matters - but if it was Carlo, I lost some time and was there for a lot longer than I remember.
