huh?? u're talking about "LEAGUES" buddy. I'm talking about National Teams. Of course in the NHL & NBA & NFL...or whatever other Professional sport ..is gonna have a bunch of players from different country's. But when the American Basketball Dream team or Team Canada's hockey team play in international tournaments...Like the World cup is (an International Tournament).. all players on team Canada are Canadian...or on the Dream team they're all Americans. So it doesn't really make sense the argument your trying to present.

The french national football team is only the reflect of french society: an actual melting pot, with people coming from all around the world, in particular from north africa, portugal and poland... The guys who actually play in our national football team didn't become french only to be able to play in this team, they already were french when they started playing football at 7 or 8, and most of them are born in france...

It's true that in others sports like athletics or ice sports, there are people who became french to be able to live with their passion (for example Marina Anissina or Eunice Barber), but in Football we have enough wonderful player in our country, we don't need to search for any others outthere... You know, the french football has not always been so strong... When we had problems a lot of people made fun of us, now that we are the best we take our revenge, because we don't know how long it will last!

Apart from jokes i think that maybe France team won't dominate the scene the way it did the past years but it's settled in the world football elite.
