No, but it negates your knowledge of what does and does not go down in a club.

I think your word choice could have been better here. Of course a DJ has to acknowledge the crowd... that's his job lol. playing muzik for ze people to dance to...

Yeah its fun when Danny howells gives you a wave, but he'd be great without that. I personally dont care if the DJ cares about the crowd, he should be carefully judging their reactions to music, but other than that dont need any more in the way of interaction with them.

Isn't judging their reactions to the music and how they are dancing in essence caring about them?

Why does the DJ need to even acknowledge anyone on the dancefloor?

I dont get entertainment from watching DJs, I get entertainment from the music they play. Who gives a shit how much time they spend with their head down concentrating? If the end result on the speakers is better...then I say excellent...

you must be an "auditory" person.

the "visual" people disagree your opinion.

People have been saying this shit for years. There are too many people stuck in the past for it to happen anytime soon, if at all.

Vinyl is definitely gone. To tell you the truth CDJ1000s are king right now and in five years Ableton will be on top. Move it or lose it nobody could care less. Just get the bugs worked out.

Really? Is that why there's still tons of new material you can ONLY get on vinyl and not anywhere on a digital download sight? Hmm, interesting.

I still don't see why people continue to care about what medium is used. It's a pointless debate that is never, ever going to end.
