Who cares about Devil May Cry, Tekken, and Killzone? A shitload more people than you probably think. Halo was practically the only franchise worth salvaging that came from the Xbox. Now MS has Gears of War, but that only makes 2 big names. The sheer amount of huge-name franchises that are tagged EXCLUSIVELY to the PS3 is overwhelming, and once all those names hit the street in a "Playstation 3" box, watch as the PS3 literally appears in everyone's living room.

Oh and SOCOM kicks the shit outta Ghost Recon.

Hey does anybody know if fifa 2007 will come out 4 ps3? or is it only on xbox360? thx 4 the help.

Well, for 360 exclusivity you also can add the following:

Forza Motorsport
Dead Rising
Lost Planet
Dead or alive franchise
Project gotham racing
Crackdwon
Saints row
Viva Pinata
Ninety-Nine Nights
Top Spin franchise
Amped Franchise
Halo wars
Pefect dark
Rumble Roses
just to name a few

and Vitua fighter 5, assasins creed, were both a ps3 exclusive now they're on 360. there are other francshises, just can't remember them.

Oh, and ghost recon is an older franchise than Socom, so technically it cannot be better since it has borrowed the same game mechanics and formula.

lol so this is what happens when i go on vacation for a weekend

bunch of OFFICIAL threads and even inlue of individual threads for respected consoles we still see the cross negativity happening. Then why even create all those threads for those consoles if we're gonna talk about a 360 in a PS3 or a PS3 in a 360 thread.

Think this thread (and the rest of the threads) should act for those UNINFORMED minus opinion. More of a TA Game FAQs with opinions on why those uninformed should buy a Wii or a 360 or a PS3. Tips, tricks, helps, hacks, user names, whatever should belong in the OFFICIAL threads, not debates on opinions.

Lets try to keep that to a minimum even though I know I'm typing something that will be taken out of context and create a large debate somehow someway.


As for the PS3, I don't OWN one because I sold mine when I got it day-of-launch. Although I have came across a bonus and christmas money which puts me in a good position to say I have been considering purchasing my very own ps3.

And FYI, the list of PS3 exclusive titles right now is essentially empty. 90% of what's showing up on PS3 WILL be showing up on the 360 at the same time - The other %10 will undoubtedly make it's way to 360 when developers realize that the PS3 isn't making them any money and is an absolute cunt to develop for.

I'm sure many of you will think this a standard "anti-Sony" response - But nothing I've said is speculation; it's fact.

Sony made a massive error with their approach to PS3 - Those of you who can't seem to bring yourselves to acknowledge it in the face of the evidence given are merely telling yourselves lies.

correcting someone on facts is OK, but debating console differences in an OFFICIAL thread should no longer exist. We've went through this how many times and this shouldn't be a place for the debate.

If people are misinformed then correct them. If people have an opinion about a game or a tip or trick about a console that should be posted here. Not a PS3 can do this better than a Wii or 360.

************ if people are misinformed, we should make the effort to keep the content of the subject intact and not stray from thinking outside of this thread, even though I know it's not an easy thing to do because we naturally compare to demonstrate strengths and weaknesses.

These threads are all worthless m8. They were all started by people whose initial intent was basically to slag off on other systems.

When you begin like that, it's hard (near impossible) to have any kind of objective discussion.

I'm just tired of the same old crew (Intermilan, Conner, DA, etc.) thining they're somehow above the "hating" or whatever it is they want to call it today - They're the main culprits right alongside TheDemon. The only difference is that at least when TheDemon posts, he sources his information.

If that's how you feel RJT then you're right for feeling that way. No one here should tell you that, but because of that, it doesn't mean you should get on their case about it or say one contributor is better than the other. So what if thats all they contribute, that shouldn't necessarily shape your opinion or response or positive contribution to respected thread.

If im not mistaken, the reason Ghost Recon 2 was changed to 3rd person was BECAUSE of the asskickery of SOCOM. Then they changed it back because Ghost Recon 2 sucked complete ass. Well, lemme just say that I started the debate in the first place in DEFENSE to what another poster says. Also, if we limit specific threads ONLY to just supplying information, I honestly think these threads will just get boring and will die quickly. No, its speculation. You have no idea what titles will remain exclusive to the PS3 vs. those that will become multiplatform. Its okay to use your logic to PREDICT this might happen, but saying its not speculation and calling it FACT...well your just making yourself sound like a dumbass.

The PS3 is having a rough start, I think, because peeps werent ready for the next-gen just quite yet. You know whats crazy? The Playstation 2 is STILL out and its STILL selling like fucking mad. Microsoft pulled all support from their original Xbox, forcing people to buy into their 360 if they wanted to continue being MS gamers. Since Sony is giving people the choice between a cheap console that has an established library vs. an expensive console that was just released, which one do you think the dumbass consumer is going to choose?

To be honest, I didnt really think the gaming forum had any charm UNTIL the drama arrived. Before then, a new thread was created like...what once every 3 weeks? This is probably the most activity Ive ever seen in the gaming forum in my entire history of being a TA.

When there are arguments and debates going on left and right, I think it makes the forum a more interesting place to browse. If all you are looking for is objective information on the latest video games, go to IGN.

Now hold on there bud, I don't want to get to a whole flame war here but I never ever, in any of my posts, stated that I hate sony or the ps3. Now that was the general feeling because of my posts, but honestly I have always praised sony for their quality products. I only discussed my hate about the Ps3 launch. Plus, I have no followers on this site. I am on my own. My views were only from me and no body here has ever encouraged or influenced me on saying what I did. I challenge anyone to come out and prove that I hate sony as a company. Because I never said that nor did i ever say I hate the ps3. But yes, you're right. At least my posts had legitimate sources.

How can you state that ghost recon sucks if you never played it? Have you even played the latest versions on the 360. They are excellent games. Socom is a great game too. an excellent franchise that seemed to come out of nowhere. They're both targeted at two completely different audiences.

I never said I never played it, nor am I in any way implying that Ghost Recon is bad. Im a proud owner of Ghost Recon Gold Edition for the PC, and Ive played several multiplayer matches of GRAW on my buddy's 360. I just think SOCOM is better. Thats all.
