But what about the death of this individual has you all butt hurt over? |
No, I don't care wheather he lives or dies. Not sure why you're assuming that. With that in mind, go read my posts again. Might answer your question.
From Shaloin page 1
"Yeah, congratulations . You just killed an ex-employee/false-flag op participant who the intelligence agencies spent atleast a few hundred thosands dollars training in most likelyhood, your tax dollars. Now they spend 10 times that just to get rid of him... again... using your tax dollars, not to mention with great finesse (i.e. extreme incompetence)."
You're pissed about taxpayer moneying being used
for the above?

He's asking if this guy is another Saddam. One day he's shaking hands with Rummy and having a nice chat cause we don't like Iran and conviently enough Saddam is at war with them. Then twenty years later when it's not convient to have Saddam around any more his old pal Rummy is whipping up public frenzy about why this guy is so bad and needs to be dealt with now when he could have done something back in 1983 when Saddam was using WMD's on the Iranian army. Something like not supporting him.
Bingo.

I never was 'cool'
They're definately not uneducated around here, in fact most have at least 5-6years or more schooling than I do, but they're very selective about what they observe and quite happy to give you one side of a story if it benefits their debate.
I figure it's not an observance issue since it takes a whole 30 seconds to do a search for Rumsfeld and Saddam and find a nice picture of them shaking hands and the story that goes along with it.

| Originally posted by WM2 Anyone that argues that isn't the case is either uneducated or not very observant. Knowing the crowd around here I'd go with the former. |
^^ Instead of taking a stab at him, why not address his argument? Or the facts he brought up?

| Rocket fired at US embassy in Athens Police and the US embassy in Greece say attackers have fired a rocket at the embassy in the capital Athens but no one was hurt. Greek anti-terrorist officers are at the scene. "This was a rocket attack launched from a building across the street. It landed inside a toilet on the third floor of the embassy," a senior police official said. "There are no injuries from the blast," a US embassy spokesman said. The senior police official says Greece's deputy police chief and Athens police chief have gone into the building, as have officers of the national security and anti-terrorist squads. Dozens of police cars surrounded the embassy and police cordoned off all roads in the area, including a major boulevard in front of the mission. The tightly guarded US mission is surrounded by a three-metre-high steel fence. Guards are posted at every entrance and at street corners around it. Local residents called in to state television saying they had felt the explosion, which shattered some windows. |

| Originally posted by shaolin_Z That's the spirit Zild . I can't honestly say what I would do if I was in a situation like that. I'm very patient, but can only tolerate so much disrespect. I certainly wouldn't let anyone, don't care how big or intimidating they are, trample all over my dignity. I've lashed out before when my buttons were being pressed. But the reason I'd want to avoid that, especially when it comes to a cop, isn't only to avoid legal complications, but the fact that I could end up seriously injure someone. I did Wushu (the flowery eyecandy you see in Hong Kong Kung Fu flicks with no practical application) for 2 yrs, but in combination with working out with some of a couple of real martial artists and learning from them. That really makes me want to avoid confrontations of any type. One of them was a guy who lived in my dorm and was trained by Shaolin monks (how badass is that!) The other, a buddy of mine, started training in various southern Kung Fu styles (including Wing Chun), Chin Na, and different Japanese grappling systems since the age of four. The fact that I've gotton lazy and haven't practiced for over a year now would only encourage me to minimize risks. I typically go for the throat, eyes, groin, temple, shins, and other areas that could end up in serious injuries, even fatal, to begin with. So if I got into a physical confrontation, I seriously doubt my natural response wouldn't be a critical strike.EDIT: Plus, I'm not a big guy, only 5'8, or the stongest or most intimidating person. Another reason I fight fairly dirty if I have to, to end the fight as quickly as possible at minimal expense to myself. |
